Part of me wants to not give this an amazing review so I can guarantee I’d always get a room! This hotel is beautiful, the pool is just lovely, the food and drinks are really good and the room is so comfortable. It’s in a great location to walk around Siem Reap and close to everything but also very quiet and peaceful with no noise at night. Vireak, Mey, Menghour and Lyhour are very very good and lovely people. My only regret with booking it is it’s so nice I didn’t want to leave! It’s a beautiful little boutique. Everyone in Siem Reap is so pleasant, the taxi drivers are very honest and kind, the locals are very lovely and I felt safer in Siem Reap than I do back in the Uk. I’m putting this hotel on my list to come back to with friends next year. I regret not staying for a few more days.
Only recommendation is to add a wake up call for those going to Angkor Wat sunrise.

Beautiful hotel set on a quieter road but within five minutes walk of pub Street and all the restaurants and bars. The pool area was a little paradise with lots of shade from trees and nature all around. Breakfast was delicious and the price of the room very reasonable. We managed to get a connecting room which was huge and beautifully designed which was ideal as we were travelling with two teenagers.

When we booked our room it was offered as with garden view, we got room #10 and the only view from the balcony is a white wall. This room is so far from the main area that is very difficult to have stable WIFI. The TV wasn’t working and the electronic safe wasn’t working with the code so we had to carry the safe’s key with us all the time.
Very young and inexperienced staff, they were very kind and tried to be helpful but definitely they need proper training.
The food at the restaurant is terrible.
The hotel is located in an area where you can walk to pub street and the night market which is a plus.
The hotel offers tours and they do a good job booking them for you.

Staff was friendly and great location to pub street and lots of restaurants. The only con (which was no fault of the hotel) tv was not working due to construction nearby, but the staff was able to provide android tv box to use. The wifi was not great and wifi may not be important for other travelers, but we needed it to do work and we believe because tv was not working, maybe everyone was streaming and created wifi issues so this could be a one off situation. Overall great hotel and hospitality.

Nice enough rooms in great location. Tv wasn’t working which hotel knew but didn’t advise us. They did fix it though once I told them. Breakfast is basic but nice enough. Would stay here again for the price as the rooms were large and the pool was nice.

Room was a bit dreary because of dark wood furnishings , but so what..it was clean , and for what it cost it was excellent 👍. A lovely light breakfast was also included in the price. All staff were very very friendly and helpful. If loud thumping music is your scene Pub Stree is just minutes away by tuktuk...or walk if you're healthy and not a fattie like me. (Woke brigade...if you're upset by me saying-- fattie - I couldn't give a toss.). Had one of the nicest Tom Yum soups I have ever had , served poolside. Would have no hesitation staying here again.

Loved our stay here. Booked for four nights but ended up staying five. The hotel was really quiet despite its central location. We were there over new year and two huge stages were built in Pub Street and we were worried noise would keep us awake; it didn’t. The rental bikes were the best we saw. Comfortable with gears and big wheels. The room was comfortable and large. And the pool was famtastic to return after a day of sightseeing. I would happily recommend.

Room smelt of mold. Mold on bedsheets when i arrived. Visible stains on towels and sheets. Tv not connected. shower head broken shooting most water sideways. ‘Bottled’ water is reusable glass type. Stains on lampshades. Restaurant good. Staff nice.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the chance to review this hotel, though honestly I am not sure where to begin to describe how lovely my experience was. As for the basics, my room was beautifully designed, modern, spotless, everything worked, and the plumbing was great (something I’ve learned is a little hit and miss in many SE Asian properties). The location is perfect, far enough from the busy tourist nightspots to be quiet but still only a short walk to the action. Nice restaurant, beautiful pool. Perhaps the most memorable part of my stay was the staff. What a lovely team of kind, welcoming young men and women. Really can’t recommend this hotel more highly. Bravo :)

What an incredible experience in an absolutely amazing hotel, with the kindest people you can meet in South East Asia! Moon Residence and Spa is the best solution for your stay in Siem Reap. Very fast to communicate before we arrived and answered all my questions. They assisted us with booking a tour to Angkor and the driver and the guide were the absolute best!! Highly recommend Mr Mau for Angkor tour in a tuk tuk and he also took us to the floating village. The hotel has very spacious rooms in a tru Khmer style. Cool, great amenities, very clean. The shampoo smelled soooo nice !! Everyone was very helpful, smiling , kind, respectful. People make this place spectacular. on our first day, we were very impressed that the hotel helped us get a to go breakfast very delicious, as we left very early to see the sunrise at the temples. The location is also the best! Just minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. We got so used to being there, that we didn’t want to leave. Kids loved this hotel so much!!! The pool and courtyard are just beautiful. The front office manager was extremely helpful and so kind!! Wish we can come back and spend more time. Would definitely book again.
