Along River Ridge

Our stay was lovely! The room was nice and clean, and the location was great; great to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Anything you needed food/ amenities wise was only a short drive away, or you could easily Skip/ Instacart it if you don’t want to leave the room. The shower was incredible! Like a real spa experience. Bed was so comfortable.. we had an excellent sleep both nights. We would definitely return here :)

Beautiful B&B

Great view of Bow River. Rooms are clean, cozy and very thoughtfully equipped. Detailed instructions for check in made it an easy contactless check in process. There is a kitchen that is well stocked. Highly recommended for those looking for a home like Boutique stay experience.

After looking at the room we choose not to stay. We accept the 200 dollar loss. Calling a small dank room with no ventilation and a bathroom down the hall to share with several other people a Luxury Room is simply dishonest.

The morning of the check-in day we received the welcome information to check-in while traveling to Calgary. When we went to the property it was a house about 3 km away from the property we had rented. It was not nestled along the river like the property we rented with a view of the rivers, hills and bridge from the back lawn. We had received no other communication about a change and could not reach them (we started reaching our to them at 4:30 and they said they were open until 7PM and just text or call- we did both). Eventually someone from the property where we had been placed texted us back saying we had been significantly upgraded from the deluxe King room at the beautiful place along the river to the small private house in town. There was no parking in front (the city had no parking signs all in front, but some parking down the street). The house was fine and also had a hot tub in the backyard (as did the facility which we rented). We had picked Along River Road because of the amazing location and view right on the river bank and the view at that property is stunning. Hotels.com was tried very had to determine what had happened and fix it and offered to move us (but at this point we had spent 3 hours trying to find out what was going on and were hungry and tired & did not want to have to move). The person from the property we had been relocated to offered to refund us or we could stay where we were. We have not had experiences like this with hotels.com or others.

The rooms were quite spacious. The common area was equipped with necessary amenities. It was a very well thoughtfully arranged place to stay.

Okay, city folk, listen up. Your options are limited in Calgary. Random Air BnB or boring hotel. But forget those two and stay here instead. We loved it. Everyone gets their own entrance, own fireplace, hot tub, AC, shower, and toilet. What more could you ask for? We needed an iron and board and it appeared outside our door. There’s a hair dryer available. Umbrella to borrow. Coffee and tea, a fridge, juice and yogurt. Room was clean, with a large, comfy bed, TV, and an overall romantic vibe. The view of the river in the backyard area was gorgeous. There were other people staying there bcs of the cars but we honestly never saw anyone except the gardener. Calgary isn’t about the night scene (maybe bcs it’s still bright at 9 pm). It’s about relaxing in the great outdoors and this is the perfect place to do so. We will be back to visit family again but so happy to find this lovely property. We would definitely book here again.

If you like shared accommodations its fine but no for the price

I selected Royal Queen Room and Country Garden Room for my travel with my wife and two daughters. Royal Queen Room is on the second floor and shared a kitchen with another room located the second floor. Country Garden Room is on the grand floor and shared a kitchen with another room located the grand floor. The entrances were separate for the first and second floors. I thought it was better to have chosen a room on the same floor.

Great room and love the extra touches like snack and books.

Room is located in a very beautiful area, easy to locate. Comfortable room with nice breakfast option and a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were very helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the sitting area/kitchen and the bedrooms were very spacious and felt luxurious! The neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe; walking distance to Safeway and other shops. Lots of snacks and variety of coffee in the kitchen!

Had a great time staying in the Royal Queen Suite for a 3 day vacation. The views by the River were peaceful and the whole general area was nice and quiet. The staff always had quick communication as well.

Pros: Nice view of river stone's throw away. Upscale property, homey feel. Bed was very comfy, got a good sleep. Easy access by car. Cons: felt we were not informed about shared living space. Room temp too low. Multiple suites; had to identify ours by trying access code on multiple doors. Not enough milk available for the breakfast.

I had a comfortable quiet stay for two nights. The location is convenient to the CF Market Mall and a beautiful location right along the bow river. Easy contactless self check in and check out.
