The rooms are extremely dated and run down. They are not charming, they are just old. The only way to find an outlet to charge your phone is to move the nightstands. There is no mini bar and very limited bathroom amenities. The TV is very small with a wire hanging out. I had to ask for filtered water every day because they only leave one bottle for a family of 3. The lobby is not very luxurious and I found the decor to be unattractive . Some of the games In the game room were broken. Overall, under welcoming. The staff is nice and location is great but that just doesn't make up for the dingy / dark room at this price point.

The hotel is in a great location and I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable even though the bed was a bit too soft for my liking. A couple times items like coffee pods, cream was not replenished or cups not cleaned. The Artefact bar was very nice. I appreciated seeing all of the interesting artifacts uncovered throughout the property.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff was so happy and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable. The overall feeling is cozy and quaint, exactly what you want from a boutique style hotel. Much better than some of the larger ones around. The spa was amazing as well and don’t forget to sit by the fireplace and enjoy a “tea time” cocktail from the bar!

Unfortunately hotel is not the same as it used to be. We used to stay at this hotel at least twice a year for the past three years. When we stayed there in February this year, our room was very closed to the elevator which can be pretty noisy. We didn’t complain, but for our resent stay, I reached hotel by email and kindly asked to be placed further from elevator and common areas. When we arrived, we find out that our room is the first room by elevator. That was very disappointing. But the worst thing was room itself. Room was painted in to the bright magnetic orange color. You can’t relax or sleep in environment like that. Next day we requested for a room change, which was done. The reason, why we stayed at this hotel for so many years, was due to amazing staff and hotel’s attention to details. We still like valet parking guys, they are amazing, hotel is clean but it is not as exceptional as it user to be.

The staff were excellent. A gentleman at the front desk kindly helped us book a restaurant since we don’t speak French, and he was incredibly helpful. We also enjoyed watching two movies in the in-house theatre at night. The fine-dining restaurant was creative and delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

This Hotel is absolutely gorgeous in every way. Spotless, comfortable, great location, and first class. From the minute you step in to check in the staff is there for your every need. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped. From iron to coffee bar there is nothing you need. The bathroom is beautiful with comforting heated floors. Concierge desk is there for what ever you need. They also have a vehicle available to give you a lift to some lical spots. Matt, louis and sean are in the lobby to do what ever they can to make your trip easy. Marjorie in concierge will set you up with great restaurants that are hard to find a table in. Their breakfast buffet in super!! If youre going to Quebec City stay here you will be very very happy!!
