Baymont by Wyndham Montreal Airport

We had problem with our key. They gave us room that the fridge had rotten kiwis so they gave us a different room. The second room we got had noisy fridge. We couldn't sleep well cause of too much noise. I've never seen this kinda of fridge. We told the workers and told us they'll tell the maintenence and they never came to fix it.

This is very much a you pay what you get for and even at that it might be over priced. It's a good thing my partner and I have a sense of humor and could laugh. I will say that though thin bedding and towels appear to be clean. Unique features include flickering corridor lights, missing light bulbs, no seal around hallway doors, broken furniture, and weirdly nice wyndham branding in an attempt to guild the clearly dead lily. On check in there was a note on the counter with a phone number to call (we arrived just before 9pm) which called the front desk we were standing at. It took a few minutes but someone did arrive. Charging a $100 security deposit seems like a joke given the state of the room. The sound of airplanes was to be expected, given that we were at the airport, but there was a clunking sound at random intervals that make the room rattle. It might have been the heat, but there were no cents vents or thermostat so that was hard to identify. Bed was uncomfortable and while the toilet paper was 2-ply the towels, sheets and single blanket were most certainly one-ply. Really disappointed that Wyndham lent their name to this establishment, as it was part of what I looked at when I chose to book. All in all the experience entertained our friends on social media but left us (quite literally) cold.

It is a rather dated property and we were rather concerned that our room door had issues. First, the door wasn’t even properly closed when we arrived. Secondly the frame showed damage around the lock area as if it had been forced open at some time. Thirdly the second security lock didn’t work and the security chain was broken. As the room was on an inside hallway near the reception and we were very tired, we didn’t ask for another room but it does need attention.

Rooms are good spacious, lobby & entrance not good!

The guy on reception was not helpful he was rude. Very poor condition of mattress and blanket. No drinking water coffee maker was broken. Waste of money

No ventilation in the rooms and smells like bug spray very heavily. Rooms are very cold and you can hear people next door easily without them being loud. Would not recommend.

One of the beds in the room should be thrown out. The base is completely stolen and the bed is slanted. Would have complained at the property but was only there to sleep mid way on our trip.

This hotel is old and for from airport I feel cold whole night very uncomfortable

No one at reception for 40 minutes at 3 am! Note on front desk said to call 2 separate phone numbers for service tried both twice, no answer. Took to lying on couch in lobby until another patron came out to see if someone could do something about the homeless patrons fighting in the front parking lot. That’s when receptionist came out from the back. Massive hair clumps in the shower, would never ever stay here, Requesting money back from hotels.com

Very old, rooms very basic and not very conveniently laid out. Bathroom blocked by second bed. Vents in the bathroom completely encrusted in dust, smell of urine in the bathroom. Very limited options for breakfast. Cold throughout the hotel. Will not return.

J’ai passé un court séjour, l’hôtel est propre et le confort y est également mais le service n’est pas au top. après avoir appelé la réception sans succès, j’ai passé 2h au salon de la réception à attendre que quelqu’un se présente mais hélas personne n’est venue, j’ai dû demander de l’aide à un client qui sortait de l’hôtel.

It’s the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in my life while staying at hotels.the pillowcases smelled of gasoline. The night table was scratched and damaged from earlier days, As part of the Econolodge chain. The heat was on 120° roughly when I got in, I shut it off. There were no windows to cool it down as the door opened only to a corridor Upstairs with windows looking at a wall with a light. Terrible. I will never stay there again. I want a refund. TV had 6 awful channels.

Hotel is a converted motel in a very industrial area. Was hard to find the entrance. They have renovated but was a low grade reno. Furniture very dated. Very expensive for the quality of stay.

Very bad. Room did not have service 2 days, room key stopped working twice, hall smelled of sewage or something off. Lights no bulbs, broken TV, hard beds, thin sheets, night staff at desk seemed lethargic, AC air smelled strange. Dont go.

This is the kind of stay that is...well, you get what you pay for...the room was big, clean, and comfortable and that's all I needed. The hotel is in the midst of commercial businesses, so no food places easily accessible...but there's the IKEA! The area was super quiet, especially because it was a weekend stay and all those commercial businesses were closed. Don't be fooled by the advertisement of continental breakfast...choices were extremely limited...I mean, how tough is it to go to Costco and grab some bakery items? But again...you get what you pay for, the coffee in the morning was good enough...however our second night there, we slept through the breakfast time and the lady at the desk didn't let us get a coffee...but then she had the room open an hour later for some other people so I'm not sure what was up with that... Overall, decent stay, I would come back if I ever visit Montreal again.
