I was disappointed in my stay. I paid for the room on the Expedia website. When I showed up at the hotel, they charged me an extra $200 as a deposit which I thought was stupid because I had already paid for the room with the taxes. Not only that the room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. There were holes in the curtains, the carpet was dirty. There was coffee on the wall from a Keurig. And the pillows on the bed were disgusting so is the bathroom. The only reason we stayed there was because we went to a comedy show in the casino. Which made it Convenient for us. Otherwise, we would’ve stayed elsewhere after this. I’ll never stay there again. Especially after paying for the room in full on the website and then get charged another $200. And not being informed that I had to do that.

Hello I loved the layout and structure of the room. Lovely to Have a fridge but a tiny microwave would help. However the Lights were all very dim. I’m a senior with great eyesight but not enough light in the room. And no nightlight in the bathroom Also the bottom of the bed was boarded. I scraped and hit my toes against it several times. Then there was a power outage from 11 am til 5 pm June 18. The staff was sympathetic but there were no extra lights anywhere the halls were very dark. No extra Lighting was available in case of this issue. The television never worked again. All un preventable. But contingency plans should have been in place just in case.

There were issues related to a power outage earlier in the day. We had no TV during the stay. 45 minute check in at 6:30 pm, assume this was related to the outage. 30 plus people in the line with 2 of 3 people working 3 computers. One sat in an office like nothing was going on. Elderly people were struggling to stand for the duration. No communication, no offer of water, nothing to help. When we called down about the tv we were cut off half sentence and told IT was working on it. Casino was closed at 7:30, security and several staff were standing around but had no answer. We were told by one employee we may as well leave as it was supposed to last half an hour and was already 3 hours. The staff were great but not communicated with so they couldn't relay anything to us. Nothing on the website. Management did not handle this well at all. Room was okay, dated with an industrial feel. Probably should have just left that night but a drive back to Fredericton in the dark wasn't appealing.

Great stay, clean room, large room with a larger shower than most hotels. Quiet but we stayed Sunday/Monday when there was no entertainment. We enjoyed dinner at the Hub City Pub. We did not Gamble but walked through. We had a great waitress and enjoyed the convenience to shopping and restaurants.
