Inverary Resort

Everything was good especially the indoor pool we spent long time tym over there and that was great. Breakfast was not available on the day we went. Overall the stay was great. Thanks!

I booked this as a RESORT property. Everything was closed or not working. No spa, no restaurant or bar, hot tubs were BOTH closed or not working. No room made up until you left. Horrible experience.

Have stayed at this location a few times and it’s always been a great stay. This time there was a minor hiccup but it was handled wonderfully. We were originally booked into a room that had only children in both the rooms across the hall as well as immediately next to us. After several hours of the kids yelling, pounding on the walls, and playing hockey in the hallways I had to call to ask if there was any way we could be moved. The front desk was very apologetic and immediately offered to move us to a new room. I’m very grateful for the switch, it was only unfortunate that when looking at layouts, we were even originally assigned the first room when another room was available.

Price was great in the winter. Loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. Hot tub not open everyday but it was on Friday. Dining option was good food but waited quite a while to get food.

Clean, comfortable and updated rooms.

Fantastic spot to stay. The pool, outdoor hot tub and sauna were perfect after a day of skiing and driving/hiking along the Cabot trail. Price was great for this time of year and although there were others staying there, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Room was perfect and clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff was excellent. Highly recommend.

The rooms and food was great only problem was it was so bussy one evening that they didn’t have Time to wait on me for supper before they closed

Stayed 2 nights overall a good experience except that the Bar and Restaurant staff were clearly overworked and not enough of them either night Up to an hour wait to order food and/or a drink Food was average at best The staff clearly did their best and were engaged, no sign of management or a plan to support their people when they were overrun with customers

We purchased tickets for Inverary Inn NYE bash, complete waste of time and money. These tickets were not cheap and the staff did not make them easy to purchase. We had been trying to get tickets for this event since the end of November, we successfully got them after MULTIPLE calls to different staff members on the front desk, on December 28th, FOUR days before the event. The staff was completely unfriendly when on the phone, and in person. We were even spoken to rudely at the restaurant. The event itself included a 3-course dinner which was barely edible. A cold “mystery beef brisket” with 4 small potato chunks and canned carrots does not equal the money we had paid to attend their “bash”. Entertainment was also lacking. It was not a New Year’s Eve party, it was a concert. The band sang their own music, aside from a couple covers, and nearly put the crowd to sleep before the new year. I highly suggest you take your time and money elsewhere, especially for any special event in the near future. In one of the attempts to sort out the details of our tickets, we were told by front desk reception that the way we purchased our tickets was incorrect and not how they wanted tickets to be purchased and they’d “let it slide this time”. No need, we will not be back again.

Quite and close to everything you need!

Rooms need to be updated. Some type of mold on tub.uses keys for entry into room. Access to ice must go outside.

Staff was friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious! The room was outdated, could use a deep cleaning and smelled musty. The heating/cooling system didn’t work very well, kept cutting out and was very noisy. The bed was comfortable.

There are no elevators other than the rooms in the hotel itself. For the price, the rooms are quite worn and some of the plugs didn’t work and the toilet didn’t work well

what a great resort! We were there in the middle of the Celtic colors, music festival. The staff was so friendly and courteous. Partygoers in The next room kept us up all night with their noise, but the next day, the hotel kindly afforded us a significantly delayed check out so we could get some rest. Would recommend it to anybody coming to Baddeck, CBI

I liked the resort but with limited mobility and the breakfast in a different building it was inconvenient. Hallway noise was more than I expected. An inch under the door entrance allows that.
