Don’t have ac as it’s an old building can’t be retrofitted but u are given a fan worked great-great old building right off at Catherine’s safest secure/sharedbathroom was not a problem very clean staff pleasant great for younger crowd but I’m 67 and met a few seniors there/-I-will return

This stay was great for a solo traveller!! I was hesitant about the shared bathrooms/showers but everything was very clean and i never ended up running into anyone else. It was nice and quiet, a bit hot as its an old building without AC but that didnt bother me personally. Would absolutely stay again! Staff was incredibly friendly.

I thought it was a reasonable choice until I went to use the co-ed bathroom and discovered a male using the toilet who hadn’t shut the privacy door. I felt uncomfortable and uneasy. We were supposed to come back to Montreal after a side trip to QC but promptly cancelled the return stay at Concordia.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I did not care for the coed bathrooms and would have preferred a private bathroom instead. Thank goodness the rooms were for single occupancy with a private sink, if not I would have probably stayed at another hotel.

It was incredibly hot in the room, and while it was nice that they gave a fan, the fan was possibly the weakest fan I’ve ever encountered. And the shared showers and bathrooms were clean and nice but the shower water was extremely scalding— literally could not get any cold to come out of the tap. So that made showering impossible; even if it wasn’t so hot outside/ in the room the water would have been too hot to stand under. I washed using a washcloth in the sink in the room.

An old (very old) convent residence now operated by a public university. No AC or TV few amenities, mini soap bar, tube of shampoo and bar fridge towel were it. Paid extra for grungy private bathroom with broken light and mirror. Only $100 less than something good.

Great spot. No AC but if you can handle it. Its worth it. Also the shared bathroom was never an issue. If you really want an in suite bathroom then pay the extra 40 a night. But 80 a night so worth it.
