Sunflower Guest Suites

Ad said someone was at the front desk- the place was l owls up tight, There was no desk- no one was there to check in- didn’t seem to know we were coming, we had to call and try to find someone then it took awhile for them to come , very noisy intersection but at night it quieted down, beautiful room.

The room was tiny and the window air conditioner was noisy. There was bottle was provide in a fridge, but not available all the time

Just outside the core of Summerside-- lovely older house converted into an inn. Modest sized room and bath on 2nd floor, nicely refurbished. Shared guest on first floor. Kinda dull surroundings outside of the heart of downtown.

Really nice building the owners are super friendly. Nice clean room.

Great place for a short stay

Clean and nice place

Property is very old and feels like it could use a LOT of TLC. There was insufficient parking for the guests so I parked on the grasss. The interior is old and dated. There was a spider in my room, and the AC (window unit kept turning on/off). The door did not appropriately lock. However, you're in the heart of cavendish and a 10 minute drive from PEI beach, so that's a nice convenience

Beautiful location, not enough parking space. Sparse shower soaps and no face cloths in bathroom. Friendly staff.

The owners have spent a good deal of money on refurbishing the building and everything is clean, tidy and functional. The room is perfectly adequate for a night but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. Bathroom is small, toiletries provided are limited. What lets the place down is the promise of breakfast. This is not a typical B&B. There is no dining room, ‘breakfast’ is a loaf of bread in the fridge, a toaster, a small amount of jam and a yoghurt. Coffee was all gone and the staff didn’t know how to make more, there are no glasses for juice, no butter or spread, no cereal or hot options, and you have to take everything to your room. Do yourselves a favour and drop the breakfast is you can’t provide an authentic B&B service. Overall,I’d say this place is a little overpriced for what’s offered.

Entire experience was very good…room was small but comfortable…clean…bright…breakfast set up needs revision…owners are delightful and helpful…

Our room was a nice size, although the bathroom was a bit small. Please add that the room was up on the 2nd floor and put a tissue box in the bathroom. The Brothers 2 restaurant was close by for our dinner. Mary is a new owner and should add that she offers other services like massage.

Enjoyed the stay. Comfortable room. Instructions for the TV would be nice. An extra roll of bathroom tissue would be helpful.

Very quaint & great cleaning staff

Waking up at 5:30 AM due to owner opening and closing doors on the bottom floor, this lasted for 10 minutes. Guests don't wake up at that hour. Do not think it's ok and actually inconsiderate when your having guests. Appreciative of a room heater being brought to our room due to the cold.

The breakfast didn’t exist. You could make your own coffee/tea, but that was it. No milk/cream. No condiments. No staff to see. Don’t call it a B&B. It’s just a B

Rooms in comfortable substantial old house. Clean and quiet

This was an excellent well kept place easy to get to would recommend this place to anyone, very friendly host great place.

Stayed for 3 nites. Very clean as everything is new. Very comfortable. The owner (Mary) was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.
