Travelodge by Wyndham Trenton

We had a spacious room with a view of the Bay of Quinte. The parking lot is in front of the property rather than close to the rooms, so we had to carry our luggage a long way. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, this is a decent budget option.

Thank you for the visit, a short vacay...do not know about breakfast as we checked out early to beat the rush on our travel day home... Front desk staff very pleasanr.

This is a 'rough' hotel. Holes in walls just patched over, security latch broken etc. The bed was OK on its steel frame. Bathroom was quite small but clean as was the washbasin outside the bathroom. It was barely OK for myself for one night but had my wife been there, we would have left.

Strong smell of Marijuana throughout the room upon entry. Limited breakfast. It was cheap though

Overall for the price you can’t beat it. However thin towels, food smell throughout, debris behind drawers (obviously not cleaned thoroughly) and the sound travels. I’d stay again, the price was right , I’m just leaving an honest review.

We had a very nice stay room was clean. Everything we need was there.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Room was clean and comfortable albeit dated.

The physical location was undesirable. Well off the beaten path. Keep in mind, this is my first time in Trenton and I arrived at night in the winter time so the drive may be different during the day and in other seasons. The lighting of the sign and building were on but wasn't inviting. The wall paper was peeling away in various spots in the hotel room. The smell of curry was VERY strong as soon as you enter the hallway to go to the rooms on the 2nd floor (i.e. rooms that start with 2). The shelf above the coat rack/hangers was dirty and did not want to use it. Towels felt very cheap. They were very thin and felt like they were used for decades and have thinned out over time. The decore of the room was very old and dirty. My son asked the front desk where the exercise room was but was told he needed to ask maintenance. In what world does he need to ask maintenance about where the exercise room was and whether or not he could use it?? The paint on the walls and doors were not consistent. It looked like it was a half done job. Toilets should be the elongated style. Breakfast was less than desirable. After a couple of families, there were no more sausages left and only a few eggs remaining. Where is the staff to ensure that breakfast is adequately supplied?? In retrospect, I should have paid the $10-$15 more to stay at another hotel to have a better experience and feel to my stay. I am definitely not staying at this location again.

It's an older hotel, but it was amazingly clean, and in great shape. The staff where so friendly, price was great.

Nice stay. Really comfy beds. Reception waiting for our late night check in. Breakfast was meager - but on a quiet Thursday night, I guess that’s expected. Older hotel. Pleasant enough. Great value!

Property is in need of a redo. Everything is old. Shower was clean inside but mold was evident on the outside base of the shower doors. On the plus side, the front desk man was very polite, courteous and helpful.
