For the money I paid it was fantastic especially when you concider that you are in Toronto.
Clean sheets very basic. A place to rest your head. Nothing more nothing less.

The staff was very nice and knowledgeable, even helping me track down a parking structure with a higher clearance height for my van. The room was basic but that is by design and it was truth in advertising. One thing that would make the experience better (and no doubt for the dorm students too) is some better sunblock shade on the window. The sun was intense very early and continued to intensify. Thankfully I did not stay in the room much during the day. Climate control kept it comfortable for sleeping at night. Shared dorm showers are fine for anyone comfortable with hostels. All in all I would choose this for my stay again due to pricing and convenience! Again, staff was very helpful!

This a college student dormitory; it's a dorm room. It's a nice dorm room. However, things can get noisy in the dorms if you remember your college days. Some nights were fine, but some nights were really noisy. I complained one night and campus security came and talked to the people, but then after campus security left, the party went on.
If you have any noise issues, complain multiple times. Otherwise, the offenders will just ruin your stay at this place. The location of this place was EXCELLENT. You just can't beat the location and convenience of this place. Price was right for a college dorm. Surrounding area and campus in general is beautiful and clean.

The bed was very stiff and the mattress hard and thin. The air conditioning seemed old. You couldn't alter the temperature of the room and the air conditioning made a loud droning noise. The rest of the room was nice and basic.

It's a dorm room. Very basic accommodations but comfortable enough. Shared washrooms. Parking is close by and is reasonable for weekend rates. Close by food and bars, easy walk to downtown. The bed was more comfortable than I expected.

Okay option if you wanna save money. Overall, it was less than I expected it! I have been in better hostels for same price.
You would get uncomfortable bed and reasonable shower (it could be warmer).
Dirty blanket and washroom. Cleanliness is low point. The place has a terrible smell, it might be related to poor cleanliness.
Good point: public transportation at the corner. I wish I could write a better review.

As you'd expect the accommodation was basic. The washrooms were about 100 yards from the room. The bed was not as shown in the picture but adequate. The room was on the 8th floor overlooking Spadina Ave. The streetcars run all night, and their public announcements could be heard clearly in the room, the southbound produced a vibrating sound from the rails, or possibly a wind-tunnel sound, but annoying, despite the shut windows and and attempt to cover the vents. Still at the price it was more than adequate, I would stay there again but hope for a different room.

I was at the 45 Willcocks Residence at I had a really good time. Super well located, many places to visit around, and you are in DT Toronto, where most of the hotels are more than 200$. Overall good value for money.
