Cabañas Raupa

Ir was a wonderful experience staying at Cabañas Raupa! The cottage was well equipped, very clean, in excellent condition, and very conveniently located. Ximena was informative and helpful. We would definitely recommend Cabañas Raupa and would be happy to stay there again.

From the moment I reserved a cabin, Ximena began communication with me, making sure I had links to complete entry paperwork for Easter Island and even arranging round-trip airport transfer for me (extra fee). This place was IMMACULATE. Ample towels, utensils and she even left a jug of water for me to use during my stay. Best part is there is a small market right next door open pretty late which came in super handy. Pillows a little soft for my liking but that's just a preference. Be warned: roosters and dogs make noise all night on Easter Island so bring your earplugs, but otherwise its pretty quiet. The Wifi is also pretty good & extends to the courtyard. Also, it is at least 15-minute walk into the center of town or waterfront. She was gracious enough to give me a late checkout & coordinated a taxi for me because she couldn't drop me off herself. She even came to the airport to wish me safe travels! I had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this cabin.

Cabañas Raupa is an excellent place to stay in Rapa Nui! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely wonderful. Communication with Ximena was outstanding — she was very accommodating and attentive throughout our stay. We were allowed to use an extra fan, offered almost daily cleaning service, received a complimentary 10-liter jug of water, and thanks to availability, we were even able to do a late check-out, which was a huge help. The airport transfer service was also top-notch. We were greeted promptly at the exit, welcomed with a traditional flower necklace, helped with our luggage, and were able to check in as soon as we arrived at the property — even before the official check-in time. The property itself is clean, renovated, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. One of our guides told us, “If your cabaña doesn’t have roaches, it’s not a real cabaña” — well, Cabañas Raupa is the exception. It’s a little piece of heaven: beautifully maintained, close to restaurants, shops, cultural sites, and the town center. We traveled with our 8-month-old baby and found this to be the perfect place to stay on this paradise island. I fully recommend Cabañas Raupa to anyone visiting Rapa Nui!

Great location and plenty of support on having a great rapa nui experience. No breakfast, but the cabin has a decent kitchen and there are many markets - one even attached to the property. They even have car rental available. They connected me with a good local guide. Only two improvements would make this place perfect - ceiling fans and either a microwave or toaster oven in the kitchen (there is a toaster!). Thanks so much for making our rapa nui stay great!

Great place to stay - beautiful property with a lovely porch you can sit on and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink. While the area is a quiet area, you will hear the dogs, cats, and roosters if you leave your windows open! We arranged the airport pick up and drop off which was very convenient. The cabin was clean and had a kitchen, which we liked. Right next door there is a shop (which accepts cards and is open early/late) that has tons of fresh produce, frozen foods, drinks, snacks, fresh coffee, and bread, so you can easily pick up these items to use in the kitchen. Within walking distance are several restaurants, shops, the seashore, the main shopping area, and the sunset point at Ahu Tahai. You can go watch the sunset and it's about a 10-minute walk back from there. Check out the empanada spot just up the road - delicious large empanadas made to order from scratch. It felt very safe to walk around the area even after dark. Jasmin helped us with everything and was so kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Everything was great. Our host, Ximena was kind and helpful. Room was large, cleam and very comfortable. Location was perfect, within a short walk to the ocean and the Moai. We strongly recommend this property.

It was a pleasure to stay here . Ximena is a wonderful host. It’s a nice 10 minute walk into town and there was a couple of convenience stores located nearby. She also has a car available for rent .

Property exactly as described and very clean. It has a grocery store out front and is an easy 10min stroll from the ‘sunset moai’ and 15min stroll from the town centre. The proprietor was very friendly and super helpful throughout my stay. If the property could get a sofa or two it would be perfect (both inside and the balcony had armchairs but a sofa to stretch out on would be nice) but the photographs displayed it clearly so no complaints. Really enjoyed my time there.

We just loved staying here. Our cabin was so cute and it felt more like a home than a hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay at. It is only like a 10min walk into town. Its very quite and secluded. We had a wonderful stay.

Cabanas Raupa is absolutely an amazing place to stay. The room, facilities and Ximena, the host owner is a wonderful woman. She’s very attentive and helpful. The free pick up and drop off to and from the airport was also very good.

Fantastic newly renovated cabanas with daily cleaning. It was a ten minute walk to Ahu Tahai and the must see museum, and to the main street Atamu Te Kena. Communications with Ximena was prompt, who collects and returns you from the airport. We did basic self catering for 4 of 6 nights. We will always reserve Cabañas Raupa if we visit Rapa Nui.

The location is great. It closes to everything. The rooms are clean.

Ximena and Soledad were so welcoming and helpful during our visit. We could not have asked for more. The cabanas are perfectly located a short walk from the downtown shops, restaurants, car/scooter rental and tour operators.

Nos recibió Ximena, fue muy amable en todo momento, la cabaña se encontraba con buena limpieza, incluso teniamos un pequeño garrafón de agua potable para nuestro uso, teníamos la duda de haber liquidado la estancia y Ximena nos dio todo el día para revisarlo y posteriormente pagar o no.
