Great stay in Nanjing, in the quieter part of the city

Arrived at the hotel close to mid night due to flight delays. Unlike other hotels, the entire hotel was in complete darkness, except the reception counters. Not the best first impression. The AC in the room seems to be centrally controlled and the temperature wasn’t able to be adjusted. The hotel sent a portable AC to my room on the 2nd night, but I ended up sleeping with the windows opened in the end. There’s a nice bath tub in the room. The water pressure of the hot water outlet was very low in both the shower n the tub, until I called the hotel to service them in the 4th night.

Good place to stay

Its a great hotel and we enjoyed it alot. Some hiccups with translations i guess but was ok in the end.

Check-in process was fast and great. They provide us 2 cans of soda water. The location was nice and close to Baijiahu Lake, just a 10-min walk could get to entertainment place like Kingmo and 1912 bars area. You can get everything but tissue from your room. It might be the only thing that make this trip imperfect.

Hotel was fantastic and service was excellent. There were people who could speak English clearly and were very helpful during the stay

A nice stay

I found the room to be a little too warm coming from Ireland I like to sleep in a room temp of 10 but the ac wouldnt provide this temp

Overall it was a great stay for the holiday . So many people but the staff went out of their way to help us. We have lived in China for 4 years so understood the holiday but if you were a traveller for the first time you would of hated it. Ammenities were fine staff helpful.. Food was great even though you might of missed somthing at the smorgasbord due to the hoards .. As many of the reviews have said the hotel is away from the sights but away from the tourist area. Taxis are not expensive and the subway is really close. you can get a Starbucks coffee if you want .. The tourist thing to say...if you plan on going to the Nanjing mascre memorial museum GET THERE early....

Luxury hotel with on par experience. Most likely would have been 4-5 times more expensive in a big city from the western world. It is however, far from the city attractions (about 45 minutes by subway). Would recommend taxis.

Good and clean hotel. The walking path from hotel to MRT is narrow.

I stayed here because I had a meeting in one of the industrial parks south of the city. This place was clean, nice and clearly new. Breakfast was excellent. There are a lot of foreigners from the companies that have factories in the industrial parks in the hotel but this is not an industrial neighborhood. It should be close to the metro but I think the local station is not yet open. Good value for the money.

a seven-minute walk from the Shentayau metro, the hotel makes virtulally all the city's worthwhile sites accessible. there is no need to take a cab from the airport, as the S1 from there, with a change at the last station and a transfer to the number 1 line gets you to shentayau. while there is a 440 -meter walk at the terminus of the airport train, there is an escalator at the shentayau station which will zip you up the 94 stairs. from the exit (only one), turn right, walk one long block, turn left , and go another 170 meters. on the way you will pass a shopping mall, as well as many other shops. rooms are spacious with all amenities. concierge fox (yes, fox) speaks english, and can give info on directions to all major sites. if i'd ever return, i'd stay here.

Easy access to nice malls. Taxis easily available but can also be booked through concierge . Very pleasant and helpful staff.

i was surprised that i could not find a single person at BAR counter or in restraraunt who can speak in english , no one new a what is the meaning of chips , wafer , cold ice , toast . grill - very frustrated about how to order food , one of the main reason for me to select foreign hotel chain is find some one can speak in english . also disappointed no english channel for tourist . next time i have think twice before decide to stay again or not.

Best place and best atmosphere for visitors. Close to station, shopping center and beautiful park.
