Dazhong Airport Hotel

Great location if you’re looking for a hotel close to the airport. Price was fairly reasonable. Lots of transportation nearby if you’d like to visit downtown for the day.

Terrible wooden mattress - very hard for my back!

This is an excellent hotel for a night at the airport. Fairly priced, and unlike other reviews here, I found the rooms to be modern, clean and comfortable. No other services available, just what it is: a convenient hotel for the airport to sleep and fly in the morning. The staff is particularly transactional "passport, take keys, goodbye" so don't expect them to be specially helpful. Still I recommend, location is unbeatable.

Very good Location directly between PVG Terminals 1 & 2. all check in counters in walking distance.

The room was excellent, spotless and comfortable. The welcome from reception was lacking any friendliness. I also really couldnt get any explanation why my room didnt have wifi.

Location is great. Bit the hotel need a little renovation.

No hot water between noon and 4pm, WiFi didn’t work and the coolest I could get the room was 26°C. Unsat.

Convenient location within the airport and easy to find with the airport signage. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very accommodating even at 1am check in, xièxiè!

The room was clean and the location was great for a 1am arrival for an overnight. Don’t expect a plush mattress…it is hard, but adequate to get a few hours sleep before your next flight. The bathroom was clean and the shower felt great the next morning. No breakfast is provided. I was in the north hotel. Apparently all the rooms there start with the number 6. The desk clerk did not explain this. My room was 6557. I went to the 6th floor, all the way to the end of the hall only to find out there was no 6557 on that floor. I thus had to drag my luggage back down to the reception desk and was told my room was on the 5th floor. Also, note that you have to go outside of the secure area and through baggage claim to get to the hotel. From baggage claim, you need to go up one level and follow the signs to the hotel down a long corridor. The elevators to the hotel will be inside columns in a sort of circular atrium area. Watch for the hotel sign on the columns. Be sure you make reservations in advance.

Basic hotel convenient for long layovers inside the airport.

Very handy for an overnight stay. You can walk out of arrivals and follow signs. Takes about 5 to 10 minutes. All undercover. Once at hotel take lift to first level and exit lift you can see either south or north building. The rooms are very clean and modern in the south building where I stayed. A two single bed room is cheaper than a 1 bed room. Don’t know why. Only negative is everything is in Chinese with no allowance for international travelers and their wants and needs. Everything is good except for the breakfast which is mediocre.

Spacious room, and very reasonably priced compared to London hotels. Reception desk staff could be a bit more welcoming and friendly.
