The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is very helpful especially 李鑫who was very patient in teaching us how to use the local Map Apps and in getting a taxis, thank you very much.

Clean modem contemporary feels. Love the bathroom this is the first hotel I found with bathtub in 3 weeks.

They were nice and allowed an 8:am check in with no extra charge.

The hotel was great ten years ago, showing signs of aging, carpet in rooms etc., overall good area and great fitness area!

I've stayed at this hotel a half dozen times now on trips to Chongqing for work. The hotel is reasonably prices, the rooms are nice enough, everything works and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is pretty good too. I seriously doubt I'd pick this hotel if I were on holiday, but it's a convenient location for me and perfectly serviceable.

Excellent hotel, one of the best I saw in the whole China. Price is very reasonable for a 4 star hotel, service is excellent, staff are all very friendly and helpful.

In downtown. Very nice hotel. Close to airport and north railway station. Provide free parking lot.

The first checkin dated 26/10 experience on our the other booking was totally disaster. However the check in experience on this return trip was superb under the supervision of front desk manager Mr Jack Ran. The friendly, fast and prompt service granted by this young man was really appreciated, who has immediately upgraded us to Suite Room without any additional charges on extra bed, after realised our requested twin bed rooms were sold out. The good breakfast with variety combination of East meet West choices.

We check in about 12 am on 26/10/2016. Unfortunately the hotel could not find our booking & made us wait for an hour before they finally found the confimation. I asked the hotel manager to call hotel.com and I showed him the hard copy of the confimation but they refused to call and kept telling me no such confirmation. This was extremely frustrating as it was late and we were tired. We asked for them to check us in first and check with the hotel.com later but they refused.

I stayed at this hotel twice in the past two weeks. Once for 5 nights and then again for 1 night after other travels before returning back to Korea. Using an online site I made a mistake booking the hotel and booked my room for the night after I needed it. The room was fully paid for and there was no option for a refund from the site I understand most sites don't offer changes without paying an additional charge, but after having already stayed at this hotel for 5 nights I thought the hotel itself would be able to allow me to stay the night before with the booking I had but they would not. I was forced to pay again for the room and lost the money for my booking the following night. In addition, this was a couple days after the national holiday and the hotel was not fully booked so I could have easily taken a vacant room. I think this showed very poor customer service by the hotel staff and was very disappointing. During my 2 weeks of travel I spent a total of 9 days staying at 2 different Holiday Inns (Chongqing and Chengdu) but with customer service like this I don't expect to use the Holiday Inn in the future. In addition, after paying for the room, I was given a room with a shower that was poorly constructed. The door could not be opened if the shower nob was turned on or facing a certain way. It made pre-warming the shower impossible as I had to be in the shower with the door closed to operate it.

I was visiting friends for Chinese new year .I also had my birthday whilst I stayed at the hotel to which the hotel provided a card and a cake which was a nice surprise.As far as I was concerned a good hotel and a lovely stay in Chongqing

The hotel is in a nice central location, restaurants and convenience stores are in walking distance. It's also close to train and bus stations. The room is big, clean, and comfortable. Nice bathroom as well. It's definitely better than a lot of the other holiday inns we have stayed in the states. We had a great stay. Highly recommended.

Good Hotel. Staff was very helpful when I had issues with my mandarin. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. I found the gym a bit small and the pool a bit cold. Finally the breakfast had a nice selection but DO NOT buy the steaks. Meat tasted and looked.like it was boiled and in no way shape or form did it resemble a grilled steak..Worst Steakhouse Ive been to in China.

Bed quite hard and bathroom a bit dated. Very disappointing there was no guest internet access in the lobby. If you do not have your own laptop you cannot get net access, which is difficult as nearby interet cafes require passport copy etc. and very tedious to use. I would not stay here again for this reason alone, even though I got an upgrade to a suite on my last stay. I'd rather next access than a sofa....
