There were some cracks in the ceiling, but the room was otherwise fine.

Great location.. Easy access

Nice location and very accessible. AC did not work and refrigerator was not working. That was replaced and a fan was brought in to help with lack of AC for whatever reason.

I travel the world, and I stay as much as I can at IHG holiday inns. The one in shijiazhuang is one of my favorite. This three stay is for my niece Ni, who teaches near the city. She insisted that I write a good review for her since she enjoyed the stay enormously, she especially wants me to thank the housekeeping lady Ms. 王淑爽， Ms. Wong was kind and friendly and took very good care of my niece, so, I’d like to thank her for it.

I am very fond of this holiday inn, I always reserve this hotel when I visit shijiazhuang , and I made numerous reservations for my daughter as well when she has business in the city. It had pleased me all these years. However, this time it disappointed me, on the second day of the stay, there's no water, the hotel gave me a key card for another room to do the clean up, yet, there's no hot water, and the day when I checked out, there's still no hot water, and when I turn on the hot water faucet, the water came out brown. I was hoping the hotel would offer some type of compensation but to no avail. I use holiday inn hotels almost any where I go around the world, this is the first time I encountered the less than satisfactory experience.

Overall very good hotel. A little lower standard than other Holliday Inn but good. Breakfast is 5 stars. But my stay was ruined this morning when around 10:30 AM the reception called my room and very nervously asked me to checkout immediately because they already checked in someone else minutes ago ( !!!!). I was scared and told them that was impossible to happens and to leave the room so quickly also impossible. The check out time is 12:00. Then she said that because the guests are from government I must obey and leave asap. I was more scared (afraid to be arrested or something) but insisted because it was really impossible to leave so quickly and finally they understood could stay until the checkout time. But when I opened my door to leave there was a policeman starring me and I was scared once again.During checkout the I asked to talk with the manager and complained and she apologized. So I advise everyone that stay in this hotel to upon check in ask of there is some event of government planned and if the foreign guest will be forced to leave earlier (!!!) Otherwise no one will tell you before and I and this situation could repeat with you.If they explained me this situation upon check-in, and maybe offer some compensation for the inconvenience (could be a free drink,etc) I will be able to cooperate. But 10:30 just after breakfast, without a shower and with all my belongings not ready yet how could I leave immediately as they DEMANDED ? Ruined the stay.

The room is like a typical holiday inn. There is nothing special to it. You should expect typical holiday inn standards which is clean and comfortable. However, in Shijiazhuang, the similar price can probably get you to better hotel such as hilton. Holiday inn was $66 per night and hilton was $83 per night for me. I deeply regret not choose hilton. This holiday inn is slightly dated and its real lobby is on 6th floor. The lobby isn’t fancy at all. But I have no complaints.

it’s the hotel i always stay when i visit the city. it’s a comfortable and roomy place connected to a shopping mall, the lobby/check- in in on 7th floor. there are plenty eateries on the top floor in the mall, so, you never have to be exposed to the elements if you choose not to.

Beautiful hotel and the staff speak English. if you go to China, this is the biggest problem, just imagen you can't order food, you can't ask for a taxi, you can't ask the staff where to go etc. I will stay again many times, Thank You!!!

Overall, the hotel condition & surrounding environment is good, but the food that I ordered using room service was not up to my expectation.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, pleasant staff and perfect location.

Staffs are friendly. Location is good. Got upgraded to a superior room which is quite spacious. Overall hotel condition is a bit worn out. Room was facing the main road receiving direct sunlight during the day making it too warm. It was Winter and the air conditioner gave only heated air and was not helping at all. Front desk was not very efficient and it took quite a while to check in. Food variety is good yet the environment just so so. Will look for alternative next time if coming to Shijiazhuang.

A pleasant surprise - it has obviously been renovated and was extremely comfortable and spacious and very good value

Western food in this hotel too localised, hard to suit the taste of foreign visitor.

Every question and query was dealt with efficiently . Room was fantastic size , perfect for lovers .

It is a hotel that is well managed, good clean room, great bath room with both shower and tub. It is located under the same roof of a decent sized shopping mall, restaurants, theater all there. I like it because it is a 10 Yuan taxi ride from the high speed train station to the hotel. Buffet style breakfast is abundant and good. I stay there whenever I am in the city of Shijiazhuang.
