Great hotel to spend on a short 3 days vacation

The staff went above and beyond. One of the best stays Ive had.

Only one thing is unacceptable about my booking and actual check-in: In my booking, it's showing include breakfast for 2. But when I check-in, hotel lobby staff told me the booking from Expedia does not include breakfast. They asked me to contact Expedia. I only found a virtual agent. But my question still pending

This hotel resort ranks high amongst all the hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel itself has a beautiful lobby and friendly (english speaking) staff to greet you. The room is great and has an amazing waterfront view.

I was eagerly looking forward to a week long getaway At Intercontinental Dameisha Resort and was very disappointed. The check in lines are horrendously long wait times. After finally checking into my room the air conditioning kept shutting off and the room was continually hot. It cut off in the middle of the night. I woke up sweating. I turned it on again in the morning went to the fitness center, but when ai returned it was hot again. I went downstairs to the front desk to request another room. They instead sent a maintenance person. The air worked while the maintenance guy was there. Then again it went out in the night. Two unbearable, expensive, nights wasted miserably hot. I went down and requested another room. I was moved into the next room. I was ready to go to the pool and the safe didn’t work. I returned to the front desk. Again maintenance was sent to repair the safe. The next day the sink was clogged. I returned once again to the front desk and had to again wait on maintenance. It definitely was not a relaxing, stress free holiday. I was annoyed that I had spent the money. However; next holiday it is certain I will choose a different hotel for my holiday.

A beach hotel that is actually on the beach. Perfect golden sand, warm and safe waters with huge swimming pools for adults and children. Well equipped gym. Outlet shopping area 10 minutes walk away. We are here off season and very quiet. As a large hotel could be difficult to get loungers in high season. Reasonable breakfast. Dinner only worth it if included. Food and drinks very expensive. Overall very clean and lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel, great views and private beach. Was disappointed that the Italian restaurant we previously enjoyed was closed within the hotel. The service was slow at times when on the beach- there were long waits for drinks etc, however overall it was a lovely stay with friendly service and beautiful hotel. Would definitely stay again.

The Sheraton is the premier place to stay in family-oriented Dameisha. It is immaculate, with excellent food and beautiful pools; it's also on the best beach in town.

Rooms view & facilities, super pool & very cooperative staff.

The outdoor pool is totally damaged. It is not a resort at all. They are rebuilding it and it causes significant noise in the room. The food inside hotel is super expensive. It doesn’t make any sense to spend any time around the hotel. Very bad experience over there. This situation should be notified to customers. I want to get some compensations for this.

Beautiful hotel and room was excellent. The only thing they didn’t mention when I made the booking was the outdoor pool was being demoliised after the recent typhoon. This wasn’t a problem as it was too cold to swim anyway, but the problem was work started at 9am and didn’t finish until 8:30pm so there was no chance of a lie in.

Great friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms very comfortable. Could not use outside pool due to damage caused by recent typhoon.

I was impressed when checked in but became a bit disappointed when checked out. We booked 7 rooms and were offered to upgrade 4 rooms to 2 suites free. The rooms are spacious especially the suites. Facilities not enough for hotel of this class. It is good to have a private beach but the swimming pool needs to be cleaned more thoroughly as there were leaves and bugs when we swam. Breakfast is good when many choices of food. More training is also needed for staff to handle client's request. For the same request, one staff said yes and the other said no. We have arranged for late check out and eventually they said they have no record of our request.
