⭐ 1/5 (0 if I could) Stay: April 2025 | During Canton Fair Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel—and I’ve stayed at many throughout China. I stayed at La Perle International Hotel for a few nights during the Canton Fair, and it was a huge regret. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful—especially when I had an issue with their laundry service. At every other hotel on my trip, I used self-service laundry without a problem. But here? My clothes came out burnt and damaged. I asked for compensation, and instead of taking responsibility while I was there, they waited until after I had left to tell me they would do nothing. Absolutely unacceptable. If you're a foreigner visiting for business or travel, do yourself a favor—skip this hotel. There are plenty of better, more affordable options just down the street with far superior service. The management team at La Perle needs serious retraining. Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer care is shocking. If I could give zero stars, I would. Safe to say, they will never get my business again. P.s they never even apologized for the situation and instead gave a mean smirk...

Hotel is ok. A bit old. The staff struggled with communication. The area is busy and plenty of good restaurants and shopping

The hotel overall is Okay. It wasn’t up to my standards as far as how I like my stay to be away from home. The beds are hard and the room was extremely small.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but the suite we were in was not clean and had a stale sewage odor. The reception staff addressed the issue the following day. The hotel staff were generally helpful and polite, but the building felt dated, and we had to share the lifts with office workers in the morning.

staff are very limite din the english language making exchanges very difficult despite them being courteous theres a small shop as well as two restaurant on the first floor also finally beware of taxi drivers in the area they will bleed you dry if not.

Hotel was centrally located in downtown Guangzhou for local shops and amenities. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean with large screen TV. Although I wasn’t able to use the TV since all programs were in local Chinese language with no English options. In short, I would use again.

I’m really disappointed with this hotel. The service was bad. When I arrived, no one helped with my luggage, and no one even opened the door. I waited 20 minutes at the front desk, and no one sent anyone to bring my bags to the room. The staff weren’t very friendly either. Plus, the hotel wasn’t as clean as I expected. The gym was dirty, super hot, and the AC didn’t work. Overall, I’m not happy. I won’t be coming back or recommending this place.

During my stay at the hotel, although there waa a notice in my room about the noise for some maintenance work, I still found this noise disturbing especially in the early morning. Another NEGATIVE FEEDBACK I would like to give was the POWER CUT-OFF WHICH TOOK TOO LONG before the electric power was restored. I also found this VERY DISAPPOINTING for the VERY LONG DELAY IN THE ELECTRICAL POWER DISRUPTION. Thank you

one of the dirtiest hotels, i booked the hotel because it was a 5 star hotel and had good reviews, but in reality its a 2 star hotel. the carpet in the room were so dirty, you had to walk wearing shoes. the smell on the lobby going towards the elevator is not pleasant at all. the breakfast buffet is not the best, but at least the food was edible

Very clean, comfortable bed and nice room. Friendly personnel. Big variety for breakfast and very tasty.

Convenient transportation but the room is relatively small

I really enjoyed my stay, and will definately go back if I get the opportunity again. The rooms were clean and had everything that a traveller would need - even the small touches like a shaving kit, dental kit, earbuds, etc. I would have liked to have sugar and milk in the room for the coffee they supply. And they didn't have international power points, so couldn't charge my laptop. The breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of choices. Overall a 10 out of 10!

all is ok in the hotel, the neigborhood not good

The rooms especially the bathrooms need proper maintenance and thorough cleaning. There was cigarette smell even on the non smoking floor. It wasn’t good value for the price paid. The staff were pleasant though.
