Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong Airport

It was clean and had a shuttle bus

I made a reservation through hotels.com for a one night stay at Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong Airport and paid for it with my credit card. My card was charged and the hotels.com receipt clearly stated "paid by visa". When I checked-in at the hotel, I was informed by the check in staff that my stay was not paid for yet. Since it was already midnight at the the time of check-in, I had no choice to pay for the room again. Afterwards I tried to get a refund for the double payment. However, up until now, my money was not refunded to me. According to the Hotels.com Support Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong Airport informed them that the booking was a no-show, and Ramada Plaza charged Hotels.com for the no-show fee. Whilte the reply from Ramada Plaza Shanghai was: It should be the deposit or guarantee money collected by the platform. Please contact the platform for refund. Our hotel has not received any fees from the platform. Both sides are not communicating and working to solve this problem. I have attached all proof of payment and receipt and sent it to hotels.com and yet they ignored it all. They wanted an official invoice from Ramada Plaza which was not provided by Ramada Plaza. I only received credit card payment slip from Ramada Plaza. This is a very disappointing experience and is taking up my time trying in getting my money back. Both hotels.com and the Ramada Plaza Shanghai are not taking responsibility for the matter.

The hotel is close to airport but the contact info of shuttle is incorrect. I end up took a taxi to hotel.

Very outdated room, bathroom. USB plugs didn’t work. Why is the shuttle to the airport once an hour only when the distance is like 3 minutes ride? Will not stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Room excellent for price. Restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. The only flaw was that we were woken up at 2am with a room service delivery. Wrong room !!!!

The hotel is a routine stop for me when I arrive late or have an early morning flight due to it's convenience and the shuttle bus. Food is always good and the rooms are nice and pretty quiet for a hotel that is near the airport. The hotel is older but had good character and the staff is always friendly.

Good for a night in PVG.

Had a long overnight layover in Shanghai so this was the perfect option close to the airport while visiting the city. I only wish we had more time to spend in the room than a few hours, as it was so large and clean and comfortable!

I used the hotel for a long stop over. The hotel was clean, large room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The shower was cold water. The reception staff could not find my booking so it took about 1/2 an hour to check in so that was really annoying. I could not connect to WiFi and they said it was my phone but had no issues anywhere else. The main reception area was really nice with lots of seating.
