Outstand services and very rustic location. Great getaway.

The general area is being allowed to run down. Quite a few businesses were shut down.

If you are looking for amenities such as swimming pool, spa, and gym, then this hotel may not work for you. This hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood across from the busy center city, which is just a quick 15-20 minutes ride. Front staff is very helpful.

If you like a quiet place, this is great. Hotel management is friendly. Great breakfast: Chinese and European/ American style breakfast: fruit, noodles.

The room's cleanliness was really good, all the things mentioned on expedia about this hotel were available. The hotel owner was really nice and went out of his way to make us comfortable. He was mostly doing all the work but fulfilled all of our requests on time. Would surely stay here again.

The service at this hotel was exceptional. I was very well taken care of, Especially since I was traveling alone. Communication was great and they helped me arrange tours getting to and from places in general With ease and no fuss. The tour guide they introduced me to, Qin Was amazing and I did two tours with him. I would highly recommend this hotel. I was sad to leave.

Very helpful staff, great view, cozy rooms, all worked just fine. I enjoyed the bike rides, painting lesson and other activities.

One of my greatest stays in China. The owner is very friendly and thoughtful. Definetly you should stay more than one night. Hotel is also very clean, nice and authentic.

Very cute location - our host was lovely and even gave us some treats when we left. Super accommodating.

The owner was so nice! He welcomed us with complementary fruit tea and fruits, and helped us plan our car ride route to see the most beautiful scenarios in Xinpin. His hospitality really made us feel at home. Highly recommend!!!

This hotel was wonderful. The staff prepped a snack pack for my adventures. They were friendly and super helpful. They made an amazing Chinese breakfast (or Western) every morning with coffee and an amazing fruit platter. The Guilin noodles were amazing. They provided transportation to and from the train station, which was nice. There was a beautiful view of sunset outside my window, a tea service, and fresh fruit and water provided always. There was no bathtub but I loved my stay. I would definately stay again. And the hotel is surrounded by a lovely shopping area and restaurants and street food. Plus a path, "covered bridge" and local attractions. I enjoyed it.

We loved our stay at the Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel. The rooms are so well taken care of, the views are amazing and staff was so so willing to help with whatever we needed during our stay. They are so thoughtful and kind. I wish we lived closer to come stay again soon. Definitely recommending this to friends.

Lovely hotel in a cute village area. The staff are really helpful and friendly with a free laundry service that really helped! Breakfast was basic but lovely and the room was comfortable. It is worth noting that the area here in Guilin is not the area that you see all the bamboo boats etc and famous photos - this is further south in Yangshuo and you can do day trips from the hotel if you don’t want to stay down there.

Staff was so friendly and lovely at this hotel! Its immaculately clean. Rooms are spacious and have so much character. Theres a nice little village outside the resort, as well walking distance to the city takes about half hour to reach. Free buffet breakfast had a nice variety as well. Ask for Amy, she is if great help!

The location is not in Guilin city but a small village. The village is quite boring and can he walked in 10 minutes. This is probably the best hotel in the village. Was offered an upgrade as the hotel had just changed a new glass roof and not yet cleaned the glass so it was very dusty. The view is not great as there is a lot of “stuff” in front of the mountains. Shower is small and towels smell dusty.

Room and staff were excellent, let down by very noisy air conditioning units outside everywhere at night. Having arrived from rural Wudang mountains, it seemed a bit westernised for our taste but others may well prefer it. Town is a good hour walk but taxis are cheap.

Staffs are very nice and helpful. Front desk provides travel advise and assist to arrange transportation pick up. The room is spacious and clean. Fee breakfast.
