We had a wonderful 4 nights stay. The room which we had booked has an obstructed view of Gulangyu. Our package also comes with free flow of drinks and refreshments in the Executive Lounge for 3 times a day. We will definitely choose this hotel again in future.

Was upgraded to sea view but room had not undergone some renovation as bathroom was without rain tree shower only handheld shower. Nevertheless, hotel is walkable to harbour as well as zhongshan pedestrian street.

Great hotel in a vibrant area. Rooms were large and the facilities were excellent with a fancy whiskey bar and great Thai restaurant. Breakfast was a little tricky for westerners and it was tough to communicate with staff. This was my only issue with the hotel. For a western brand, it would make it easier if more staff could speak English.

Spacious room with good room amenities. Walkable to shopping area 5 to 10 min. Turn right to Zhongsan Pedestrian St direction, left to Millennium hotel n shopping area. Subway station less than 5 min away next to Millennium hotel.

It’s centrally located in the heart of Xiamen. It’s so close to one of the ferry piers to GuLangYu. It’s highly recommended.
The food for breakfast and the Thai and Chinese restaurants were all amazing!

I found my room was not serviced at all when I came back from outside and towers were not replaced. When I complained and asked why. They said I put “do not disturb” . I was shocked because I did not do so unless that was default? They did not even check ? It makes no sense for me to receive no service.

The hotel is absolutely lovely albeit a little bit dated. Rooms were very clean. I was surprised that my (expensive) booking didn't include breakfast but it didn't bother me. The Gulangyu View Room had a spectacular view. Service at the hotel was lovely although they seem to want to charge for everything. I got a couple of coffee sachets in my room and there was a sign saying if I wanted more, it was chargeable. Seemed a bit odd to me because I would not use the tea bags. I wonder if they would have swapped tea bags for coffee? But I thought charging for coffee and sugar was a bit petty. The hotel is in a wonderful location. The area is very walkable with lots to see and do. The hotel comes recommended!
