This was a winner. A fantastic location, large, clean and lovely rooms, and the Waldorf Staff was so kind and helpful. I loved everything about our stay there. Breakfast is lovely, and as an American struggling with chopsticks, I really appreciated the forks. Just a gorgeous and kind place to stay.

Liked the option of double queen beds which was difficult to find in other hotels. Breakfasts were excellent. Pool and gym were small but sufficient. Highly recommend for stays with children.

Beautiful property on the Bund and conveniently located for walking to the many touristic places in Shanghai. Breakfast was amazing with many options and great tasting. Staff was friendly and courteous.

During the two nights we stayed there, every night about 20 or more influencers would show up along with their friends/assistants. They would have their pictures taken in the lobby, in the bar area with the Christmas tree, etc. They outnumbered guests who actually paid and stayed there. The hotel turned a blind eye to them. I find this experience very unpleasant and not compatible with the price we paid to stay there.

This location has made sure they paid attention to every little detail. The staff throughout our entire stay was both delightful and helpful. They even helped us find a taxi when none seemed to be available.
As for the hotel and room itself, everything has been maintained very well. The beds were very comfortable. The sitting area was impeccable and the view was phenomenal. Even the teas were outstanding.
As for the location, I live how close it was to the Yu Gardens, good food, and some fun shopping.
I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Shanghai.

Great location to visit and see The Bund. Very nice rooms. The breakfast was VERY pricey for what you get. I would suggest visiting The Walking Street (only about 11 minutes walk from the hotel) for meals.

Beautiful hotel with impeccable service. The property is close to all the major attractions (The Bund, Nanjing Lu, and Yu Garden). We will definitely be back!
