What I love the most about this stay are 1. Sumptuous breakfast 2. Location and proximity to Wulin night market & West Lake 3. Customized pillow 4. View of West Lake

There was frequently no wifi or with very slow speed.

The hotel can only be rated as 3 star for overall services

The westlake view of the nine floor room was amazing.

I don't think this is 5 start hotel: 1) the property facilities are old, for example, the glass-door of shower room cannot prevent shower water leak to bathroom, always. 2) the swimming pool in basement is dark and dirty, with very bad smell, I didn't use but looked around. The fitting facilities and swimming pool are open to public, such as training groups, unsafe at all. 3) the main hotel entry door doesn't open to the street facing west lake (if so that'll be great), however, it's opening to a narrow street with busy traffic, looks like free-market.

Nice location, a minute walk to West Lake

Just beside the famous West Lake, beautiful neighborhood, the facilities are new and advanced, friendly staffs. It looks like the hotel shares with other organizations in the same buildings, and it caused the confusion when I arrived. As it locates in the famous tourism area, you can imagine the area is pretty crowded.

Once the staff figured out I was not happy with the desk staff, the other staff, manager and concierge got better at taking care of problems. This is not really a good hotel for a travel or who speaks little Chinese or no Chinese.

Hotel is really nice and staff are great the only thing which I being picky on is bar area not very good.

Excellent room. Good location. Pleasant check in staff but 20 min. wait is too long. Some hooks, towel rails in bathroom would help.

The health club was closed during my whole stay! They said they would call me a cab so I can go swimming at a different hotel! The pool was one of the main reason I even wanted to book this hotel. I was very disappointed. Even though I did decide to book this extension of one extra night. The rooms and service were really great though but nothing can make up for the pool being closed, I love to swim.

Firstly lost my passport several times. The staff were very confused about the booking. This took about 5 minutes to fix. But then the real problems began. My credit card got put I to about 5 different machines. Some repeatedly. I put my pin in multiple times. On different machines. And a few times o. The same machine. No declined slips. This is when the staff began lying. And I hate this. A different girl was dealing with me for the booking than the girl playing with my card. When I asked what she was doing. She immediately lies to me. And tells me the card was declined. Without looking. Or talking to the other girl. And I don't mean English. Not Chinese or a touch or a look. Just starts arguing. There is now a pending transaction on my card I don't believe to be a deposit. There was a lot of confusion. And I think I got charged twice for the room fee. And then a deposit. Also all off our group was charged different deposits. This maybe is not a problem. Maybe this will all get fixed. It's just disappointing ☹️ Then when I got to my room with all my luggage. The room key did not work.

Great convenient location. very near to Xihu. but the other occupants were relentless smokers who refused to cooperate. not the hotel's fault.

Great location to get to historic and picturesque West Lake. Close to interesting street market and other shops. Very comfortable stay and good breakfast with plenty of choice. Recommended if you go to Hangzhou.

I felt that I was double charged. First of all, I paid deposit during check-in, and then paid full hotel bills during check-out. However, later on, my credit card showed 2 transactions from this hotel ( I booked 2 rooms). I contacted the hotel but they insisted to say that was "pre-authrization"and will be refunded soon.... Doesn't make sense that I paid full deposit and bills, why "pre- authorization" after check-out???

Non-sokong room smell smoking at 1st night, request to change room next day. We had our 2 morning coffee & bakeries at their coffee shop , after 10 minutes of waiting , they told us they are running out of cream and milk and asked us can we drink black coffee instead. 😩😩😩, Out of cream at coffee shop???

Jason, the hotel manager, did a wonderful job in assisting us with our room reservation and stay. He did everything possible to make sure we were satisfied with the hotel whenever we walked past him in the hotel lobby everyday. The entire staff at the hotel were helpful and pleasant.

Nice location - close to the west lake and shopping areas. But the hotel seems to be unfinished with the back garden or square blocked. The gym and swimming pool etc was closed due to more than a year unpaid rent?! We were offered to use the gym in the grant Hyatt. It’s about 10 minutes walk by the lake. I think I’ll stay there next time!

Location is quite good. Not far from west lake and decently near the metro. Was slightly disappointed that they were renovating their health center (pool) was intending to have some light swim. Generally good stay.
