DoubleTree by Hilton Pointe-Noire

Possibly the best hotel in Pointe Noire. It is a very nice place but it unfortunately fails at times to exploit its full potential. As a hotel under the Hilton brand, I expected it to do the things u see in Hilton around the world. There were no doorman to help with luggage when I arrive nor was there anyone available to help me with luggage to take me to my room when I first checked in. Not that I needed the help necessarily but it’s the little things that count when u check in a luxury hotel. Biggest issue I had during my 5 night stay was the fact that I woke up one morning with a big roach crawling on my bed. I understand that vermine is tropical locations r sometimes not the easiest to get rid of but it’s a luxury hotel thus expected better. That being said, all staff was courteous and respectful and always helpful when I asked for assistance. If works sends me there to Pointe Noire again, I wouldn’t hesitate go ring them another try in the hopes they live up to their full potential.

Clean, lovely breakfast and All the staff were so friendly and helpful! We truly enjoyed our stay.

stays for two days … property is cleaned and close to transportation. We can walk around safely. Price can be stiff specially food… other than that. It’s a great place to spend time.

The hotel nice with a super bed and shower. Unfortunately I had no time for the swimming pool which seems super. Internet works fast and well. Perfect for business

We had an issue both me and my colleague an issue with our mastercards cc. The hotel want able to fix the issue. I have to ask my accounting to wire transfer from our office in dubai.

This is a very nice place to stay.

The staff were very courteous and it was a really good get away for the whole family. Happy to visit again

Gorgeous new hotel, sparkling clean with beautiful amenities. Staff are lovely and helpful. Location is good, halfway between beach and centre of town. The rooms are large, and immaculately cleaned everyday. The only thing I found a bit off was that the security guards out of the front would regularly ask for some cash "to buy a drink" - like c'mon Hilton, are you not paying your staff enough? I found this very disappointing and a bit unpleasant...

Just a great quick business stop, by far the best value for money in town.

Great for a business trip, hotel has all the facilities required, is definitely the best hotel for value in town.

It was a last-minute change and we were very happy they could accommodate us. The bed was crisp and perfect. We would have been happier if breakfast was included, but it wasn't. It should have been. I was bitten by the farooz (not sure of spelling), the little bugs you can't see that bite. The coffee served in the lobby was either way too strong or just not good. The black coffee in the dining area was good. The staff people were all lovely and charming and gracious, from the cleaners to the front desk. A rooftop bar would make it a wonderful spot. The dark chocolate Easter egg made all the difference.

This is by far the best hotel and value for money in PNR, it's a new hotel so everything works well. There are no snacks available at the pool area which is not so good especially if you are staying over the weekend. Most places are walking distance including the beach, and centre of town.

Some discrepancies in the system to detect the payments (room and breakfast) that were already done.

Very new hotel and of a high standard. Good breakfast and clean very functional rooms. A short distance from the main street CDG but lots of taxis available to get anywhere. Nice pool bar area. Great Wifi. Will stay again.
