City Express by Marriott San Jose Costa Rica

Las instalaciones del hotel muy bien, limpias, cómodas y útiles, el desayuno lo necesario para empezar un día, el precio muy accesible, sin embargo tuvimos una muy mala experiencia, alquilamos 2 habitaciones (521 y 522) en la habitación 521 se tomaron el tiempo de registrar un bolso con cosméticos y cremas de mi esposa y sustrajeron un perfume Vulgari omnia Cristaline, en muchos años de viajes realizados jamás habíamos tenido un percance así, considero que guardar ese tipo de cosas en la caja fuerte no es necesario, aunque está claro que en este hotel si es necesario. La respuesta de la gerente de turno el día 17 de abril fue absurda hasta infantil, al aseverar que le había preguntado al personal de limpieza si habían tomado el perfume y que le respondieron que no, Por Dios! Nadie en su sano juicio va a reconocer haberse robado algo de un cliente en una habitación de hotel, esto es completamente desagradable ya que como repito hemos estado en varios hoteles y por lo mismo dejamos con confianza en la habitación cosas que jamás debieron ser tocadas, honestamente no recomiendo este hotel específicamente. Pues por escoger un precio “barato” salió más caro el daño, el mal momento y la falta de profesionalismo del personal

Clean quiet comfortable and quick shuttle to airport

Excellent staff and easy access to airport via shuttle by provided by hotel. Very clean and convenient.

Hotel was nice and clean, close to airport. Airport shuttle was convenient, however, only its free during certain hours, they can accomodate off hours shuttle, but its little pricey. Staff was great, specially security.

Rooms small but clean. Except very very strong odor of bleach and cleanser. I wore a mask inside because I was worried about hurting my lungs. The only place to eat was a Mc Donalds that was full of hotel guests. It was very understaffed took 30 minutes to order and get food. Hotel is convenient and close to Airport with Shuttle. Because I needed a ride at 4am to Airport I was going to be charged $25.00. I took Uber instead for $8

The property is good, close to the airport, but is very noisy I couldn’t sleep

I'm disappointed to leave a bad review, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues. Firstly, the shuttle service failed to arrive, and we had to pay for a taxi instead. Additionally, the hotel attempted to overcharge us, but after showing them our Expedia booking, they corrected the price. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the room wasn't working. The rooms themselves were small and underwhelming, which was particularly surprising given the hotel's association with Marriott. Overall, our stay fell short of expectations.

Easy check in, staff at the front desk, Mariana was very helpfull. Nice breakfast and very clean rooms.

Place was nice , clean and quiet . Staff was very nice and courteous.

We just stayed overnight to catch a flight early in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. It worked out well for our needs.

Hotel offered airport pickup but there was no shuttle that created lot of disturbance additional cost of $40

Close SJO and easy parking Breakfast is lackluster. Not adequate. But Coffee is satisfactory. Elevator broke was there. Overall recommend it due to its proximity to SJO airport
