Planet Hollywood Costa Rica, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

My stay at the hotel started very Rocky but then I spoke with the manager and everybody was ridiculously nice and worked hard to fix all the issues. The hospitality and customer service was top-notch and definitely five stars. Everybody is also very friendly and professional simultaneously and they really do care about the people staying at the hotel. Mercedes was ridiculously sweet and caring, Cristian the star class manager was kind and on point all the time; he figured out ways to make things better and thought of solutions all the time--thank you so much!!! Javier at the buffet was so nice and helpful! Danny the personal agent was always running up and down to solve everyone's issues, reservations and accommodations. And somehow always kept composure. The drivers of the trollies were great too. The food was tasty and the variety was great! Delicious buffet! And good dinning options. Several pools as options and a beautiful spa. The masseuse was also strong and gave great massages. The entire staff is 5 stars! Thank you. Pura vida!

Overall 10/10, staff was amazing

our room was extremely noisy. Hallway echoed ALL noises heard people talking, people walking in room above us.

Nice atmosphere but the staff is not friendly. Not very accommodating. My personal assistant was great though. Thank you Justin for trying to make this experience great!

Excellent resort !!!Everything at the resort is 5 Star. From the time you check in till the time you check out you will find no complaints.The resort has the best staff everyone of them were so nice and helpful In wanting you to have the best stay of your life .we will definitely be coming back in the future.

This property was so much fun! The staff always went above and beyond to help. We took our 2 kids, 8 and 11. There were quiet places to hang and the pool was so fun with activities but was not a wild party scene. There weren’t many kids but certainly tons for them to do. The private cabanas were very reasonably priced if you were looking for a private pool and a place for shade. The room was beautiful and plenty of space for the 4 of us.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. The main building as well as rooms are modern and very well kept. The food is quite good as far as a resort goes. And the views, whether you are on the terrace overlooking the water, or on the beach are incredible. What actually makes this resort so amazing is the staff. The room service team ensures your room is clean, and multiple times per day, they will make sure your fridge is stocked with water, pop and beer. The restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive. We never had to wait long for refills or any of our food. The bar staff were on a whole different level of service. I have been to many resorts, and I have never experienced service this good. I have 0 complaints with any of them, however, Francisco, Nestor, Ariel, Rebeca, and Franklin were absolutely incredible. They took the time to get to know our entire group and went above and beyond every time we saw them. Even if they saw us away from the bar, they would come say hi and make sure we were ok. We are barely home 24 hours and everyone is already talking about going back soon based on our experience with Francisco, Nestor, Rebeca, Ariel and Franklin. Our entire group agrees this is the most well rounded experience we have every had at a resort.

This was a refreshing change from our initial resort. Stay Far away from Margaritaville and Run!!! to Plant hollywood. this was paradise

Nice resort, modern amenities. However I would have liked more walking trails on the resort to fully experience Costa Rica’s nature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Black sand beach, no waves so kids spent most of their time in the pool. No ginger ale though which we found strange as we had everywhere else in Costa Rica.

V.I.P. director suite has no view at all. The view is of the building on the resort. Was told Expedia posted wrong pictures, even though the pictures are of the suite but the ocean view it shows is photoshopped. Was told we needed to downgrade the room for a better view but they were at capacity and that it could not happen. Butler/ personal agent service is virtually useless. Amenities described in resort post on Expedia are not given. No views from suite, no fruit basket in room on arrival. Room only has two bottles of wine, no liquors in mini bar. Wait staff at the pool is very slow if you can get service at all. When speaking with management they do not help, they just blame you for not understanding their misleading advertisement and blame Expedia. Do not recommend! Not worth the money!

This resort was a dream! From the min we got the staff was warm and welcoming and took care of us in every way imaginable. We had to wait for our room due to flying in so early and they were more than happy to check us in and hold our belongings until our room was available and we were able to enjoy the amenities they had to offer. We also booked all our adventures with the hotel and they made it so easy to book and attend. 10/10 recommend this hotel

The property was great! Our 10-year old daughter loved the kids club and we felt comfortable with her going to and from our room on her own. Food was good. The only challenge was getting reservations at the different restaurants. You will want to do this as soon as you arrive as they fill up quickly. There are other restaurants that don't require a reservation - like the buffet or the hamburger place. But the nice ones require a reservation.

We loved all the pools and the monkeys on the beach made the stay very special. The star class pool bar had the best drinks and snacks. We really enjoyed those! All the à la carte restaurants were excellent and the personnel very nice and hard working. The purple vibe party was so much fun.

Loved this place just from the beginning you literally fell like a star and since we entered until we left Christian the manager took care of us very well Just that the staff at the bar next to the swimming pool (in front of the spa) was a bit rude All the remaining staff was amazing be it in the restaurants or in the spa or the reception I would definitely return and take my whole family to it

Wonderful friendly staff, everyone was very helpful. Front desk Jorge was fantastic. Sanchez and Melvin in PH Experience were excellent people.
