The property was "okay" and I think decent for the price it falls within. The best thing I ate was the short rib at Toura. The pasta at Cosa Mesa buffet in the evenings was actually better than the food we tried at the Italian restaurant. The burgers at Coral Keg were clearly frozen and lack flavor. This is not a place I would go for the food and for advanced travelers, this does not hit the mark. But I think for new travelers, and those from 18-28, it is ideal. Also good for those who are traveling on a budget. Some staff were very friendly but many seemed preoccupied and did not go out of their way for fear of being bothered or misdirected from their intended mission. The alcoholic drinks were lack luster and often we went to the VIP lounge because it was the only bar that had Don Julio and/or alcohol that did not taste like it was watered down (which I do understand they want to be sure no wayward parents become intoxicated and loose their children). We went off property alot during the day, laid out one day just to catch some sun and that was relaxing.

We had a great stay at Dreams Cap Cana, thanks to the amazing staff and beautiful accommodations. A standout was our butler, Eudomar—always responsive, polite, and incredibly attentive. He made our stay feel effortless. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. The entertainment was also a highlight—Water Zumba was fun, and the nightly shows were lively and well-executed. Food was mostly excellent. We loved the steakhouse and ate there three nights—the food and service were consistently great. The Mediterranean restaurant was also a hit, especially the ribeye. However, Candela was underwhelming, with small portions and food that didn’t feel authentically Dominican. At the buffet, a kind woman who made omelets (June 27–29) went above and beyond, even preparing fried cheese and avocado for a traditional Dominican breakfast. Her warm service truly stood out. The big downside: the beach. It was rocky, full of seaweed, and the water was murky—unusable for swimming. As beach lovers, this was a major letdown. In short, Dreams Cap Cana delivers on service, food, and comfort, but the beach experience was poor enough that we wouldn’t return. If the beach isn’t a priority, it’s a solid resort.

The grounds were clean with many pool choices. Our assigned Concierge named Alvaro was very nice and went out of his way to check in on us. Many of the hotel staff looked irritated, especially the bartenders near the preferred pool area and the swim up bars. Tipping generously didn’t improve the experience. Once we lowered our expectations, we managed to enjoy the setting more. Not much entertainment happening for your children.

Food take to long.

No cumplieron nuestras expectativas no tenían suficientes bebidas te ofrecen primium las bebidas pero no tienen suficiente el check nos dijeron hasta las 2 y luego nos dijeron hasta las 12 y pagamos tarifa prefered

We went on our first trip with our 5 month old daughter and this resort was the perfect vacation. The service was excellent, from the moment you checked in you are assigned a personal concierge. We had Alvaro and he was great. He would check in with us everyday via text to see if we needed anything. I asked for a way to heat water to sanitize baby bottles and next thing I know they sent us a baby bottle sterilizer. They really went above and beyond. My mom is vegan and she had dinner options at every restaurant. The spa services are 100% worth the cost. It was a relaxing experience. We will definitely be returning with our families.

Very clean and nice staff

The other properties in Dominican Republic own by Unlimited Vacation was much nicer in every way than this property.

Pros: Very new resort, very clean, many workers around for assistance, many restaurants. Cons: lumpy bed pillows, not enough staff when checking out (long checkout), shower took 45 min to get a little warm.

It was a beautiful property, sadly we couldn’t enjoy the beach, there was a lot of algae

We stayed in the Preferred club part of the resort and absolutely loved it! It was quiet and very clean. The service from the staff was the best we have ever experienced. Everyone is so friendly and kind and very helpful. The food was amazing and the staff genuinely only cares about you having a great experience over anything else. I would recommend this resort over any other one in the area. Our concierge Luis was very friendly and helpful and he is largely another reason we would love to go back as soon as we can!

The resort was incredible. First of all it's huge. There are so many options of things to do. Second, the staff is incredible. They were super attentive and very kind. Third, the food, for the most part, was very tasty. We were there for three full days and had one "meh" meal. Not even bad, just "meh". Lastly, everything was super clean, and you could see the attention to detail. It rained hard every night we were there, but when you woke up, the sun was out and the property was spotless. It didn't even look like a storm passed at night.

Did not like the beach

This was by far one of the cleanest resorts I've been to. The staff was amazing and polite.
