We really liked everything - food, our bungalow, the beach, service…

Great property, staff, rooms, definitely choose Platinum for service on the beach and pools and high-end alcohol. Great location on the beach beach. Only negatives are mosquitos will get the room but not too many. And have low expectations on food in a third world country this isn't Italy. All their steak meat is labeled beef because its not steak its beef. You have to pay extra for imported steaks. I would return and do it again.

Service was terrible. Food was awful. Buffets are okay. Not bad for a budget friendly resort.

The property was good . The quality of the food can be improved. The staff was amazing and very attentive!!! The room was nice but we had mosquitoes which was a bit of a pain .

There is lack of English speaking staff so it’s hard to explain them problems, front desk people are so busy that they will hang phone saying to hold for a minute so you have to walk to them for everything.

My stay was nice, I did have one issue with a small rodent running in my room due to a utility closet being left open the first night I was there. After that situation was taken care of. It was a wonderfrul experience. The resort was beautiful. I will return even though that happened.

recently stayed at this resort for four nights and will break my review down into the following categories: 1. Location The resort is about a 20-minute drive from downtown, where you’ll find shopping centers and nightlife. However, if you decide to walk outside the resort, be aware that locals may persistently try to sell you anything- good, bad and very ugly. (Fill in the blanks.) 2. Amenities & Facilities The room was very clean, and I couldn’t hear any noise from neighboring guests. The WiFi worked fine, though I didn’t use it much for streaming. The buffet and sports bar offered decent food, nothing exceptional. The gym was mediocre at best—the color scheme didn’t help the atmosphere—but I was still able to get a few workouts in. During my time on the beach, I didn’t encounter any sargassum, though that could change in the summer months. Taxis were readily available when needed. 3. Service Quality Despite the resort being packed, the staff remained pleasant and attentive. Be prepared for a lot of walking, but there is a shuttle that runs approximately every 25 minutes. 4. Value In my opinion, there are other all-inclusive resorts that offer a better experience in every category for just a little more money. Overall, I’d rate my stay 3.3/5.

This is the perfect spot for relaxation with clean rooms, a beautiful property, helpful staff and so much to do on the property. It is also in close proximity to popular hang out spots and clubs.

Great experience! Grounds are amazing and beautiful and very well kept. Waiters and bartenders were exceptional! The maid service could have been better. We did not upgrade to platinum and glad we didn’t as we didn’t feel like we missed anything. The restaurants were great unfortunately we didn’t have enough days to try the Pescador or the Mexican. But man the Indian and Italian were amazing. Beach is gorgeous and always able to find a chair. Definitely will be back.

It was a stunning resort, absolutely loved staying there. Beach was beautiful and so clean, really close to the pool and everything was genuinely not a bad walk if the weather was nice. Dining options are wide but if you don’t plan for them it’s hard especially if you go on excursions during dining times. Mosquitoes were in my room tho so I had to cover myself in mosquito spray before I went to bed. Only thing I would give heads up on is there are people EVERYWHERE on the beach trying to get you to buy things without telling you how much.

We had amazing time, we are in platinum and really enjoyed the staff over there especially the beach bar. Tony and the team are just amazing! Thanks for a great vacation!

The staff was awesome moved there after I hurt myself waiting for my insurance to bring me back home and everyone made sure I was ok and offered all the help i needed

We lost one of our four days at this resort! Day one (Monday)…The moment we entered our room after traveling all day, the toilet would not flush. The mechanism in the water tank that was faulty. We had to hang around the room most of the day waiting for 2 different maintenance men to show up. They both were ready to plunge and put chemicals down the drain. I couldn’t get the point across that it wasn’t plugged (language barrier). TheThermostat in the room was not functioning properly either. It was either too hot or too cold and the refrigerator didn’t work. For the first day we were stuck in our room waiting for staff to show up to fix the toilet. Day two (Tue)By mid afternoon they provided a new room. More issues. No blankets for the bed and no bath towels… but what kept us in our room was the safe. We couldn’t access the safe to lock up our valuables, electronics and cash because it was already locked! By the time everything was corrected, we lost our first 24 hours of our stay because neither of our rooms were ready to be occupied…(Have 2 shorten my review, not enough characters) Had a meeting with the manager requesting a 1 day extension. Her answer.. She said, my situation didn’t qualify for an extended stay but offered me a spa treatment. Wedid stay one additional day at my expense because I ended up with food poisoning from dinner on Thursday night….. Horrible ending… I will never stay there again. Management at this resort has no regard for customer satisfaction.
