Great food

Property required a wrist-band, and when I lost mine it cost $50 to replace! Yes, they warned me upfront, but NO I do not consider this a reasonable fee for a lost wrist-band!

Right on the beach quick walk to restaurants and bars, always stay here. I love it.

Everything was good

Overall this a great place to stay. Clean great pools and quiet if you book away from the road. HOWEVER. The listing is misleading. Main picture shows a sea view. There is no sea view from presidential suites as it across a busy main road from the beach with huge building blocking your views. Across the road is the sister apartments lifestyle and it the pics from lifestyle that show the sea. Also. Garden view means you are in the main road and will be kept awake all night from road noise which is very loud. Choose a 1 bed or similar with pool view to be away from the road. Also. They do not service your room unless you pay. I stayed for 11 days and asked for at least clean towels which they obliged after day 6 but no clean sheets !! I was a solo traveller so no major issue for me. Kitchen is fairly well equipped. Micro. FF. Hob kettle coffee maker, toaster maker etc. you get a full list of everything upon arrival and if anything is missing they will charge you at the end. I saw an American couple who were missing 2 hand towels and they were charged $20. They said my ashtray was missing but as I don't smoke and had no use for it or even ever saw it I refused to pay. When you check out they want you to wait while they check the room. This is not a quick process and after 20 minutes I left anyway as I had a plane to catch. Just be aware of this as it could mess up your timings. Check out 11. Great pools and beds. I would stay again for l sure.

excellent, staff and resort

When I entered the bathroom, there was a pubic hair on the towel beside the sink. I know that sounds made up, but it is the truth. Other than that, the room seemed clean. The bed was incredibly hard and it was difficult to sleep. The room was right by the road and it was extremely loud with all the cars, motorcycles and associated honking. This also made it hard to sleep at night. The location is exceptional as the hotel is right by the beach. Even though we were on the other side of the road, there was an elevated walkway just outside our room on the third floor. The walkway connected to the other part of the hotel so we could easily cross over and get to the beach. If you don’t mind hard beds and possible cleanliness issues, the location can’t be beat.

It was no more and no less than exactly what I needed. The staff were very helpful with bags, and excursions. I would go back!

Stayed 3 nights. Staff very good and friendly. Room service for an extra fee. Noisy street! No matter where in Dominican the street to walk down or hotel on street is noisy. I don’t know why everyone has to rev their engines but they do. Could possibly come up with some organic or man made sound barriers to help. Prices in restaurants a bit higher. Overall, nice place, clean, lots of pool spaces and close to beach with a convenient overpass to cross the crazy streets!

this is a beautiful property with great pools and a fabulous ocean front. i would have rated it as a 4, but my shower did not heat up beyond tepid for the last 4 nights. for anyone going, this is a great place, but it is not a hotel, it is a timeshare. if you want your room cleaned, or new towels it costs $20.00. the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and tasty, and there are 30 oceanside restaurants within walking distance to meet anyones needs. you can stay here for a week, and never leave the beach. the rooms all have wifi and the junior suite that i had was very nice and large. it was supposed to have a garden view, but the balcony actually overlooked the street. if you are from New York, you will be comforted by the noise, but walking up at 4:00 a.m. and hearing a motorcycle going by honking its horn, takes getting used to. i would say that this is a great place to stay, but temper your expectations

While the property was fine and the room was decent, there was a small roach in my bathroom and the security guard was rude to my friend that lives in the area and to my fellow traveler. The front desk staff was generally friendly, but there clearly a bias towards older white guests.

When you look at this hotel online, it looks as though you were on the beach. What you are on a very busy road looking across to the ocean. The rooms are dated. The elevator is smelly. The staff was adequate.

I was not told there would not be any housekeeping services for the room I reserved in advance or upon arrival. I asked for towels and was warned a charge if more than 1 change of towels in 4 days!! I arrived to a mop, broom and bucket in the room but no note or cleanser that this was job to clean my room. We thought it was left by a made at first lol.

I always love coming to Cabarete and staying in this hotel. Sad thing is that they are NOT all inclusive. But my husband and I eat at the surrounding restaurants and they are very tasty and affordable. The meal plans at This place is too expensive and they are Not as tasty

Only downside is that this place is no longer all inclusive and the Timeshare reps hound you thruout the day which is quite annoying
