Beautiful property, everyone was so nice

Very beautiful resort! Staff is kind and interactive! Great service! Housekeeping was on point in the room 2-3 times a day! Good variety of foods, the only caveat, my husband and I got sick from one of the places the last day of stay. This kind of made our experience bad, but hopefully, it’s just a single case

Nice time for our 30th anniversary, staff was very attentive. Never went without a drink. Only negative was that because of the seaweed and bad smell, the beach was unusable. All the restaurants were good, portions were good size.

Resort was nice and quiet all inclusive. 24 hours food and drink, our Butler Marlene was amazing. She always makes sure we are comfortable. Everyone was welcoming and we feel right at home. We will definitely be back again.

Disappointed with Our Stay at Secrets Cap Cana (June 1–7, 2025) My girlfriend and I had high hopes for Secrets Cap Cana, especially given the premium price and Hyatt’s 5-star reputation. Sadly, our experience didn’t meet expectations. The seaweed was overwhelming—unsightly and with such a strong odor that the beach was completely unusable. No effort was made by staff to acknowledge the issue or offer alternatives. The pool area was overcrowded daily. Guests had to reserve chairs as early as 6–7 a.m., and we often couldn’t find seats. One morning, after briefly leaving our chairs for breakfast, our belongings were removed and other guests took our spot. We raised concerns with our concierge and hotel management, but nothing was done. We suggested using unused beach chairs or opening the spa pool,both were dismissed. As loyal Hyatt guests, we expected better service. A credit or compensation would be appropriate. On the plus side, breakfast and lunch buffets were great, and 24/7 room service was reliable. À la carte restaurants were average and hard to book dinner times were often only available after 8–9 p.m. Staff service was hit or miss. Many seemed focused on tips for basic services, unacceptable at an all-inclusive resort. Entertainment was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return and recommend checking beach and pool conditions before booking.

Beautiful property. The staff are great. The pool bar was our favorite and the bartenders always made sure you had a drink. We had such a great time. Secrets may be our new travel destination.

Great room

All inclusive benefits were really nice. Very friendly staff. Impressed by how clean everything was, including the public restrooms around the resort. Entertainment and activities were great!

The ocean was very disappointing. It looks nothing like the pictures and videos. You can not go in the water due to soooo much seaweed. The water is brown and murky snd smeels bad. The pools are very nice. The service is excellent along with the food. Resort would be perfect if it had nice water that they advertise.

Food was not that great. No food available after certain times. Drinks terrible taste like artificial sweetener. Bar in lobby was the best for drinks.
