Hotel González Suarez

I did not have the executive room nor did my room look like the picture. Loved my room view : ))

They changed the room without notice after I checked in!!! The ”new” room not even close to pictures I made my decision. I got to cancel the reservation. Awful experience.

Unfortunately, our stay was not the greatest. We did not receive the room we reserved for our stay the first night and then not until the second day until 2 p.m. after asking the staff several times. The hotel overall left much to be desired. On a positive note, the manager did attempt to correct the mistake.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is way overpriced for the very rundown condition it is in. The service was unfriendly, and it was an overall disappointment. Upon arrival, we were given a large room. The tobacco smell was so strong, that we requested to switch to another room. The second room we were placed in was smaller, but better because of the tobacco smell. In this room, however, the water in the bathroom had to be turned on and off from the wall because the shower faucet leaked so much. The water was lukewarm at best, which was not acceptable for a cold Quito day. While the staff accommodated the switch of rooms, they were less than friendly overall. The receptionist knocked on our door around 10pm after we were already in bed. She had to go through our room, onto the balcony and into the guest room that shared a balcony with ours because they locked their keys in the room and that was the only way to get into their room. The breakfast "buffet" was worse than a typical hostal breakfast and was only a buffet because it was self-serve. The options were stale bread, cheese that looked like it had been there for too long, lukewarm water for coffee/tea and some fruit and eggs. We had decided to splurge on this hotel and were greatly disappointed. I have stayed at much nicer hostels in Quito at a fraction of the price. The place was rundown and not in working condition, with no effort placed in maintaining what could be a beautiful old building.

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado, tiene un estilo clásico esmeran la limpieza y están siempre pendiente de las necesidades, el desayuno que sirven es muy bueno.

Excelente ubicacion, las personas muy serviciales, con indicaciones acertadas, habitaciones hermosas, lugar silencioso, creo que volverìa. Lo recomiendo.

El hotel tiene una ubicación barbara está cerca de los lugares de interés tiene variedad de restaurantes, boliches, de todo tipo alrededor del hotel. Cuidan la limpieza. Desayuno muy rico y variado.

No me gusto el hotel No hay personal amable

En general cumplió mis expectativas, servicios completos además de: jacussi, sauna, amplia sala, etc.

Es un hotel tradicional,tipo SUITES,pequeño, familiar, cómodo y muy bien ubicado, una zona tranquila alejada del ruido. Excelente atención y orientación para conocer lugares.
