I booked an apartment with a balcony overlooking the Nile, but the owner knew it wasn’t available, as someone had rented the apartment. The reason why he never registered that the property had been taken, is because he wanted to offer me another at the back of the property, which had no such view and the turquoise furniture was filthy and an extremely uninviting apartment. I had to rush around looking for another apartment and due to the difficulty it became midnight and I ended up just selecting an apartment to wait until the morning to find the Nile view I wanted, he had deliberately wasted my time, holiday and money. I feel it was very unkind to advertise an apartment you don’t have and not to inform the quest before arriving that’s it not available.
