JAZ Makadina

We are a family of 7 travelling from Canada that stayed in 3 rooms. We were very impressed with the resort, kind genuine staff and quality of food and beverage included with the all-inclusive. We stay at 5 star all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico and would recommend this resort for those looking for a different experience. The snorkeling off the beach with the variety of coral and fish is hard to find and very much appreciated with the hotel’s location.

We are a family of four and went with another couple. We had such a great time, the property is small but immaculate, everything from the rooms, the pool and the grounds were so well kept. It was a quieter hotel and we would have liked more music and activities by the pool and of an even wing everything wraps up about 10pm. A huge shout out to the animation/ entertainment team who really made our whole vacation, they were so friending and inclusive and were brilliant with the kids day and night… especially Alberto who was our absolute favourite and made our trip so much fun. We loved this property but the best thing is the staff who couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back!

Overall great stay at this hotel but few items make it a 4-star not a 5-star. Pros: - Food might be the best all-inclusive food that I ever had. All 3 buffets are delicious - Rooms are clean and very comfortable - Resort property is small so everything is very close which is awesome - Beach very nice for swimming and snorkeling (shallow and deep areas) - Staff are incredibly nice and courteous, also always asking for feedback and how your experience is going. Cons: - Entertainment/Sports are not the strongest at this resort. There were no sports games organized in the pool, no volleyball space on the beach (probably because no space). Also no info was shared for on-demand activities like tennis, paddle, kayaking, etc. so not even sure if these were available or included. - the pool is very small in my opinion, and there definitely is not enough pool and beach chairs for everyone. Whatever choice you make in the morning will be where you leave your stuff for the rest of the day because you will not find chairs in the afternoon. - mini-bar items are extra charge which I think is silly for a 5-star all-inclusive - No pool bar but more importantly no drinks allowed inside the pool which I think is a real party-killer - again takes away from a 5-star experience. - No food prepared/served on the beach so you have to go back to the snack/lunch bar which also doesn't overlap very well with the buffet times.

The place is not big but very Cozy. The staff all over the hotel is very helpful and professional. The foods tastes amazing and the variety is very good. The beach is lovely, with a beautiful reef, the beach is sandy with no rocks. The restaurant manager is friendly guy who meets you with a lovely smile, always ask for your opinion and if there is anything else needed. Rooms are big and tidyWe checked out at dawn, we found them prepared a breakfast box to take it with us, it was a lovely gesture. For sure, we will come back again.

I really enjoyed not only the hotel itself and great food (a lot of choice, fruits and vegetables and amazing live cooking), but the most - the team! This is an excellent property. Staff outstanding, food delicious and so much to choose from. Pools clean, 1 heated pool ( childrens pool) beach always has chairs, wait staff as well as nice swimming and snorkeling

The resort was clean, the room was nice and cosy, the service was amazing. The front desk team was amazing specially Hassan and Abdul Hak. Definitely going back and recommending the resort the friends and family

I have only good things to say about this property. I am a frequent traveler and have visited many many countries over the years. Jaz complex is five stars all over. Service is amazing, the food is top quality and varied there is plenty of choices for everyone. The staff goes beyond their duties to make sure your stay surpassed expectations. The hotel is beautiful perfect for kids. And the value for money is one of the best I’ve seen

A beautiful property located on the beach in a gated safe community. Great staff who were fun to be around with excellent service! Food diversity and quality needs improving and the hotel needs a concierge who can recommend outside activities and tours in the area outside the hotel. Shuttle service to Hurghada city was not running at the time of our stay and the nightclub was under renovations which was disappointing but overall I was very pleased with this hotel. Great value here!

Everything is perfect

Great resort, incredibly family friendly was a breeze with a 11 month old. Plenty of choice and variety for breakfast lunch and dinner with snack and drinks in between. Pool was great and heated to a good temperature. Plenty of activities and entertainment. Great beach location with facilities.

Amazing stay , excellent location, friendly staff

Clean, convenient, accessible, friendly, fun place to be. The one issue that may need some work is the quality of the bufet for all inclusive. Overall, the hotel is excellent and I would certainly go back again.

Over budget hotel with good location and moderate service

Front desk staff were not too friendly. Check in took a while. Cleaning was excellent. Food was good but not great. Oriental restaurant was amazing. Beach and cabanas were great. Coral is right on the beach. Diving/Scuba yate leaves from the hotel's pier. Water park was great for both kids and adults and is about 8 minutes away on the shuttle. Both shuttle and park are free for guests. Hotel is about 30 minutes away form the airport. We had a good time and recommend this place.

Lovely family holiday, hotel is everything you need with the beach, the pool ( including a heated section) and a couple of nice restaurants and cafes all within a 5 minute walk (ideal when you have families ). They've catered for children with a lot of activities and a nearby waterpark However the really outstanding thing about the hotel is the staff, very friendly and attentive and doing their best ensure a nice stay
