Transfer is not easy

Although the employees were kind, they were arguing with each other, which is not nice. The biggest problem is their very poor or no command of English.

One of the best resort I’ve been to

This property is beautiful! I had to drag my kids out of the pool each day. They staff is very hard working and friendly. The highlights for the kids were the swim up pool bar where they could order slushies! The bay definitely has great aquatic life. We saw glass fish, black and white striped fish, and even a lion fish. I would recommend water shoes if you are worried about stepping on something. We only left the property for a snorkeling excursion?. Food is ample and with much variety. For dinner, if you don't get there at 7 exactly, it's hard to find seats until 7:45. But you can always take a walk and go back. The fresh made pita is amazing and available at all 3 meals. There is also a man assigned to make donut holes at dinner most nights. They are so good! They are called Zalabiya. My kids loved the pasta station. I would rebook here in a heartbeat. The family suite allows for the adults to have their own space!

Great hotel, amazing beach, tasty food. You can even get lunch from the beach side restaurant/bar with a fresh pizza oven. Cannot recommend enough. Only criticisms were dessert menu was not the best, good for kids but a bit too sweet and sugary. Also would recommend not taking the hotel’s water activities - a little ovepriced - better to book boat trips through Viator or something else to save money.

I had a soccer injury, so they gave us a wheelchair friendly, easy access room. The place is well kept, clean. Food is very good. A perfect place for a family vacation!

We had an excellent time at Prima Life Makadi! The reception staff upgraded our room and were always helpful and kind. A big thank you to Ahmed at the reception desk! He was so kind and helpful to our family. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful! We would definitely come back here.

We like the animation of the Animators! Always happy with life! Our room was very clean by Omar! the food in Soho was very tasty.

The people are lovely, great selection of food and the facility is all kept very nicely. We had a great stay in the resort. There’s a lot of emphasis on joining in the activities which really isn’t my thing, and people trying to sell you day trips etc. but it was a minor thing and didn’t detract from the holiday at all.

Cold pool, bad food, bad cocktails, small and overcrowded beach, cheap furnishings, terrible entertainment team, vendors walking around the hotel hassling you constantly.... I wouldn't recommend staying here. Find a nicer place.

Amazing property. Will definitely comeback

Amazing price-quality ratio; quiet, small and very cozy hotel with friendly service

Our staying in this hotel was truly amazing. Staff was very nice, everything was clean and they were cleaning all the time. Everything was set when we arrived, guy from reception drove us to the room at a small hotel what was very helpful since we came around 4am and resort is very big. Room was clean and spacious, same with bathroom. They were cleaning the room everyday and our room was clean and smells amazing after we came back from pools or beach. There was a lady asking guests about quality etc every day, she was also very nice. Food was great too, dont worry to make reservations to other restaurants in resort its free of charge. They charge only for lobster menu 25$(we tried and it was amazing) and same at the beach restaurant. We couldn’t believe there was so many people in the resort and maybe 10 in this restaurants. We tried spa as well and it’s totally worth the money. We definitely came back. Thanks for beautiful staying

Pros - price very very cheap for a 5* all inclusive - soft drinks are original brand, alcohol served all night -large rooms -laundry service was cheap and efficient -wifi is fast and works in the rooms and shared areas - has a private beach, with fresh pizzas and a bar, pools and a heated pool area -good breakfast with fresh omelette, pancakes etc - room has gold facilities, amenities etc, comes with toothpaste and other toiletries that you'd expect of a 5* hotel, even if the finishing of the room isn't quite western 5* Cons - pool closes rigidly at 5pm even if sunlight is later, very annoying for British tourists who are used to swimming until the evening if it's sunny - food quality is mixed. Grilled/outside food pretty good, inside food can be pretty bad in terms of the meat. - hotel carers to a mainly Russian and eastern European tourist demographic, who have different priorities to western European and British tourists, focus on the hotel is probably too much on organised activities for western tourists very loud animation team at the beach etc (hotels which cater to primarily western European tourists won't have those outside of kids only areas).

I came with my family including 2 children and we had an enjoyable time at Prima Makadi. I highly commend the Animation Team (Lucie & Team the Children’s Animation Team. There was plentiful activities throughout the day, and also the best compared to neighbouring resorts. Please share my gratitude with the team as they greatly deserve for making our stay at Prima Makadi a great pleasure.

Staff were great, helped with anything we needed. Food was good, great selection.
