Red Sea Relax

We loved how close we were to the corniche and many restaurants. The staff was helpful and responsive when we needed towels or any other help.

The Good: The main appeal to RSR is its prime location. It is square in the middle of the Dahab boardwalk. Its exteriors are stunning to look at, with well-maintained grounds containing a swimming pool and beautiful flora. The staff was beyond helpful and accessible 24 hours. If I had a problem, they resolved it quickly. Cons: The rooms are sorely in need of renovation. The TV was tiny, didn't work properly when I arrived, and had limited channels. The bed contained a thin, hard mattress and the linens usually contained a stain or two. The bathrooms had a heavy mildew smell and were in poor condition. Upon arrival, the bathroom light was out and needed to be fixed, the toilet stopped working at one point (they were quick to fix both), and the fixtures were sorely outdated. But for me, the worst part was the horrific in-room Wi-Fi connection. At the tail end of 2018, this should be a basic amenity, but I had to either go to the lobby or a nearby restaurant for a decent connection. Overall Impression: If you are coming to Dahab to dive on a budget, I would recommend this place. It is centrally located on the Dahab Boardwalk and relatively inexpensive. If you are looking for a luxury resort where you are pampered and can simply relax on a beach, I would look elsewhere. If they made interior renovations and improved their WiFi, I would definitely stay here again.

Central location, friendly staff, busy bar, comfortable rooms.

I couldn't have asked for a better location! The hotel is connected to a very popular bar. I thought we would have heard more music/annoyances, but we didn't! The pool was nice. Diving is close. Rooms are basic, but for the cost, totally worth it!

Hotel opens off the pedestrian street going along the front at Dahab. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was okay. There is a nice bar upstairs (Churchill's) good for relaxing with a beer in the evening. It's also minutes walk from other bars and restaurants along the front. There is a dive shop attached to the hotel that I did some excellent dives with. Swimming pool is pretty decent too.

The room was clean and comfortable and the service from the staff was efficient and friendly. I have stayed the before and would recommend it for its central location, swimming pool and bar.

We were reccomended this hotel and we're really pleased with it. It was fantastic value for money. The rooms were clean and the facilities were good. There was a little balcony overlooking the pool and a nice bar area. The opinion is great .... right in the centre of Dahab with a lovely German bakery just round the corner. Loved our stay very chilled highly recommendEd.

Great location with the best friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

Great hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Relaxing and chilling cozy hotel. The one thing I was missing is some variety in the breakfast table. Yet I have to thank all the staff from the reception area to the Kitchener crew and cleaning workers, they all were very helpful.

Friendly hotel in great location with bar and meals at good prices. Airport transfers arranged via email are reliable and comfortable. Room has all you need including fridge and air conditioning.

The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel also offers a very inexpensive laundry service.

The staff were great and polite , especially the chef each morning made an effort to provide quality breakfast. Although in the middle of it all, it is actually peaceful and quiet. Perhaps the bathroom could do with a bit of improvement but otherwise everything was fab. Thank you Chris and your boys, we will be back soon with every intention to have our marriage ceremony at your hotel as discussed.

Stayed at Red Sea Relax for three nights before going to Wadi Rum and Petra in Jordan. I was more than happy with the hotel, the location was excellent and had a good breakfast, the staff were very helpful and their English was excellent. Before I went I was a little worried about potential trouble in Egypt (Nov 2013) but there was none what so ever. Minutes away from the hotel there are stunning coral reefs to swim, snorkel and dive amongst. There are many places to rent diving equipment, I paid roughly £2 for the day to rent snorkel equipment from the dive centre next to the hotel. The hotel offered a taxi service from the airport which was roughly 20 Euro.

Room cleanliness was poor. thats the only criticism I have of my stay.

We have stayed between 2th to 5th June 2013 in RedSea Relax hotel. Even we were 1 hour earlier than checking time, they have already made our room ready for us. Breakfast is the weakest chain of the quality of hotel because if you are early waken up person like me, you have to wait until 9 am to buy something to eat outside as all the restaurants closed until this time. The shower has problem in our room (104) but the location of the room was perfect. Overall, dont burn your money for a luxury place just sleep and have your shower and enjoy DAHAB sea..
