Lovely hotel with very friendly staff

Lovely hotel The Location was perfect! The room was very clean although very stuffy at night but there was a fan in the room and the window can be opened and was still very quiet. Loved the pool & spa facilities. Breakfast there was plenty of choice. Will definitely stay here again if we visit the area. If I was being very picky the only complaint we had was the evening meal portions were very small for the price that we paid. Would definitely recommend this hotel for staying.

Beautiful hotel well situated. Spacious clean room and bathroom with amenities. Lovely little added touches like fresh milk,water and even a welcome treat in the mini fridge, slippers and robes. Breakfast has plenty of choice with fresh fruit and pastries and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast’s. The only thing which let the hotel down was the room was very stuffy as there is no air conditioning even though they try by supplying a fan in the room. Also it’s on a very busy road which gets quite loud at night especially when you have to leave the windows open to allow the air to circulate. Overall it was a fantastic weekend.

Lovely hotel beautiful 6 course meal. Breakfast a bit hit and miss. Perfect having free carparking,left the car and use the bus. Very helpfull staff. Good shower

Nice hotel and good staff. Lack of aircon in the rooms is a big problem for a top rate hotel and I would not return for this reason

Lovely clean, light and airy hotel. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks on arrival and the use of the pool/ sauna/ steam room. The evening meal was delicious. Hotel conveniently placed for access to town/ park/ beach/ walk to harbour

We came here with our Granddaughter in August 2022. Lovely Hotel. Clean and pleasant. The waiting staff were really lovely and worked hard.. We chose to return for a quiet and chilled break. Great area for walking and enjoying the seafront too.. Beautiful English Riviera☺️

Staff very friendly, breakfast was fantastic, poached eggs done to perfection and lovely welcome gift of fruit and chocolate tart gives that personal touch. Really recommend I was impressed for the price

You just simply can’t give this establishment less than five stars across the board! This is my sixth visit to the Belgrave Sands and it’s still as wonderful as ever! I always look forward to my next trip and would always recommend this establishment to patrons wishing to visit Torquay.

Very much pleasantly surpised by this place. Idyllically situated just down from the stunningarea of the bay and marina which led to a memorable walk when I went to get food from the cornucopia of options available. There was ample parking close to the entrance. All the staff from reception to the breakfast area were very friendly and accommodating. My room was a deluxe single but still came with a double bed which was very comfortable and resulted in a great night's sleep which I normally find hard away from home. The room itself was compact but that in no way detracted from the fact it was high functioning with a fridge, a table with 2 chairs and a desk with a chair. The bathroom was fantastic with a large shower cubicle although the water pressure could have been higher. The decor was very clean and high spec. Breakfast in the morning was cooked and brought to me very promptly with all ingredients cooked perfectly. As a bonus, I also tried the gym. I was the only one there so only having one treadmill and a small selction of weights did not hamper a decent little workout. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here and would like to stay there again next time I am in the area.

This is a great hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. My onlg complaint was the check out time it would have been better if it was 11 am not 10 am but otherwise we had a brilliant stay.

Staff Very polite and helpful ,food in the morning was very good,, cleaning staff did an excellent job keep the room and facilities clean. The swimming pool was a nice bonus which i used first thing in the morning. Would recommend this hotel.

A very nice place to stay.

It could have been better if the person in the room about or below didn't have a bad snoring problem keeping us awake.

Fantastic from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was wonderful, clean, spacious with all you could need. Lounge area, restaurant, spa area etc was all spotless and modern. Plenty of parking. Food was excellent, fantastic breakfast with great selection, however, the evening meal was very pricey for myself and the menu was limited, it was confusing as to what price the meals were as some had supplements on top and if you were not there on a package deal break the menu cost more. I had to query a cost for a meal we had at the end of our stay as we had been overcharged or misinformed of the cost of the meal, we assumed it would cost what we read in the menu. The food was however excellent and understandably the price was higher than a normal menu as it was of a very high professional standard, It felt like we were eating somewhere very high end like The Shard. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back in the future. Also to add I had an incredible spa treatment with the lovely Stella.
