DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park

Hotel was lovely and quiet. But I guess if there was an event on then it may be busier. Hotel was good. We had issues with food and restaurant but that is not down to hotel. Room service food was cold but they quickly fixed it and restaurant was ok but not great for egg intolerance..... Most sauces and so on had egg in them. This is not a big issue but simply worth noting

Nothing negative to say about the staff, all very engaging and helpful. Hotel looking run down in hallways and rooms, wallpaper cracking and damp in the room I stayed in. Coffee machine faulty, TV faulty, alarm clock time wrong. Breakfast served 0630-0930, no fresh food cooked from 0845 so I had the dreggs and had to request an egg be cooked. All fruits gone and not replenished.

Hopeless. Check in was slow and was not made aware that the main bar area was closed. Had to find out for myself where to go for a drink and food. I sat myself down after getting a drink and although other guests came and sat after I had they all got spoken to by waitress offered a choice of menus and in some cases even had food before I had been given a menu. I asked if there was a choice of menu and to be told no just the 1 I had. I went to order 10 mins later to be told they don’t have the starte that I wanted. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t tell me this when giving me the menu.

I stayed here for work, it was easy to find and get to, the staff are lovely and the room clean. No complaints here! thankyou Double Tree Sheffield!!

Room I had had problems with heating quickly upgraded me to a new room amazing

free parking friendly staff nice welcome fresh hot home made cookie upon arrival room was clean and tidy and big nice dinner and breakkfast.

Desperately in need of a refurb

Lovely stay in kingsize deluxe room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff Emily was really helpful - thank you! Only disappointment was that the spa hot tub was out of order which would have made the stay absoloutely perfect.

Nice restaurant and liked that it had pool, gym & sauna facilities. £5 charge per adult to use and kids can only use during certain times. Breakfast was very good, the hashbrowns were lovely. A little dated decor and some wear & tear around the hotel but a comfortable stay overall with 2 young children.

The rooms were ok and clean and comfortable but we chose to eat in the restaurant and it was freezing cold in there! Not an ideal situation to be eating a meal in! Also the lounge bar was closed so we had to also sit in a small area within the restaurant and obviously this was cold aswell! We’ve stayed here many times and this was the most disappointing experience of all!

I arrived at the hotel and staying due to working in the area, I have stayed at this hotel before and had no issues at all. Staff were very friendly. I went into the room and the room was cold but didn't think anything of it and was due to attend Teams meetings so just got into the bed and carried on working. It was late when I finished but room was still extremely cold, I thought it must be on a timer so I decided that I would just go to bed. I woke at 4am to use the bathroom and the room still freezing. When I got up the next morning the room was too cold to even shower, I thought I would make myself a hot drink to warm me up, then I found the kettle wasn't working. I got ready and went down to reception and told staff on reception about the issues that I had, receptionist said that there was nothing that they could do as I booked it through Hotels.com.

Warm welcome, parked up outside easily, room was really clean and tidy. I can’t knock this hotel, it was perfect for what we needed it for.

I like the hotel and try and stop here whenever Im working down here. The issue im having is that the Coffee machines are not fully up and running for the 6:30 breakfast time.. They know that breakfast is served at 6:30, so why isnt the coffee machines ready?? Nothing worse than heading off for a 12hr workday without any coffee inside you :(

All agency staff not skilled at all no glasses quite poor service considering we was at a Christmas event

The friendlyness of staff from reception to morning staff and all in between spacally emely on reception so friendly and helpful 12/10 ♥️♥️

Bed like sleeping on a slab of concrete, breakfast overcooked, room ok clean.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were absolutely fantastic - welcome cookies was a nice touch. Breakfast and dinner in the Marco Pierre restaurant was very good. Free parking and location worked well for us. Place just a little bit tired - could do with some TLC to decor throughout corridors and rooms, and spar had a few things not working. Just felt well used, but did not detract from an excellent stay. Would recommend and stay again.

Very comfortable and convenient for our visit. Hotel was a little tired looking and Spa needs upgrading with the swimming pool freezing and jacuzzi not working. But bedroom was very comfortable and staff were very helpful.
