Good breakfast and comfy room in an excellent location

Absolutely everyone went above and beyond, from check in desk, house keeping and the breakfast restaurant! All staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was ready early and we received a free upgrade, thank you! A beautiful room, cleaned perfectly, refreshed tea/coffees (with great choice) and a superb breakfast! Comfortable bed and a great walk in shower. Cannot fault anything. Brilliant stay, will definitely be back.

not very quick to check in and 1 x room had not been cleaned.....but changes made

We had to change rooms as the air con was not working properly. We ended complaining 3 times before we were offered an alternative room. This meant the first of our 2 nights stay we had no sleep which impacted on our whole time away. The staff were all very pleasant and apologetic and we were given 2 drinks vouchers as an apology. Unfortunately the only member of staff who wasn’t pleasant was the bar staff.

Everything perfect, location amazing and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts i’ve had, will defo be staying here as my go to for future gigs as a travelling dj!

Very friendly staff. Only one problem is that the bed is a bit too high.

Generally clean and welcoming however 0 level off the street to get lift to reception was a little smelly but tidy. Warm welcome at reception. Room again clean and tidy however, comfort of bed is different for everyone. Bed was comfy however the pillows appeared plump and soft (2each) however when we went to sleep, the pillows might as well not have been there. They went flat as a pancake and we had to keep folding them over for some height. It was too late to ask for more pillows. If your car is a small SUV or bigger, please note, the car park is SO Tight around the corners and the spaces. There are signs up telling you this too. We saw someone in front of us with one of those large ranger truck things and it nearly got stuck trying to turn down one of the ramps. The hotel itself is in a great spot for the centre and is right next to the train station.

Unfriendly staff in reception, I said I’d paid already and she said it hadn’t been taken, was charged twice. Bad service wouldn’t go again

Hotel was great, staff were great, breakfast was great, but the smell of the sewer or river, definitely not so great!

Needs to be caveated that renovation work was taking place. On arrival the hotel smelled strongly of drains, not a great first impression. Room desperately needs updating, bed was very comfortable but room very poor in comparison to other 4 star hotel available in Leeds. No fridge, air conditioning barely worked.

Bed was very comfy, all very clean, shower was wonderful The only slight criticism is that you have to go past the gym to get to the elevators and it smelled really badly of sweat in that area
