I stay here when I come into London it is very convenient to everything and I manage to find little restaurants located nearby for a quick dinner incase too many times at the hotel. I do not recommend you stay in the Tower. I was upgraded this time and I didn't realize I had stay in that part before and it is miserable to get to , so no on that but everything is perfect.. Stay in original part of hotel so much better....I will be back...

My room was very nice - good bed, etc....
Concern: 4:00 PM check-in seems a bit late (I sat in the lobby for two hours waiting for my room - I find it hard to believe that the rooms are not ready prior to that time). Actually - since several of us were asked to wait until 4:00, it was after four when I received the key to my assigned room.

Location to the train station was excellent. The area around the hotel seemed rundown. Exhausted and sick, we had to wait 3 hours for the room to be prepared only find no wash cloths in the room and the toilet would only slightly flush.

Room service menu is limited. Bed was comfortable. WiFi was fine. Plenty of transport options, from trains to cabs and Uber. We used Paddington Station as our base to travel from London to Brighton and Cornwall.

I've used this hotel many times over the years. This was my 1st time back in about a year. There were issues with the door key at check in, which required three return trips to the front desk, who just were not all that helpful.
The location is great but there are now many alternatives around Paddington station

The hotel is in a handy location to Victoria Station with loads of restaurants nearby and Hyde Park only a short walk. We stayed in a family room. While the beds were comfortable, the room was incredibly dated and it looked tired. There was large scraps along the wallpaper, a light switch button was broken, the bathroom very old fashioned with bits of wood out of the mirror frame, the security lock on the door appeared broken. It didn’t feel like a Hilton! The breakfast however was fantastic and made up for it. Although check-in could be quicker!
