ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay

It was walkable distance from the train station and a small sainsburys.The staff were helpful and nice. The food options were small but tasted amazing and good price. The rooms were nice and clean with great facilities and a good size.

The stay was ideal for my needs. The room was contemporary and tastefully laid out. Excellent night's sleep.

Breakfast was very wanting

Soulless building with a funny smell.

Rooms are beyond basic, bathrooms are dated and shabby. I felt like I was stepping back in time. No decent tea or coffee making facilities and towels were old and worn. Thank goodness we were only staying one night and were so tired (2am check-in). Pictures on websites do not reflect the poor quality. It looks like a well looked after modern hotel. This is not the case. Shame as it was a good location from being close to the airport.

Front of house member of staff was amazing. He tried very hard to get us an early check in, and it was very much appreciated. The room was simple but effective, loved the flooring. Double bed pillows not great, only had one extra pillow in the room; I know we could of asked for another but was very tired when we got back to our room. Bathroom door very noisey when opening and shutting, would be better to have a down handle rather than a pull? Plastic door as well may not of helped. Main door to bedroom quite noisy as well when entering; my partner went out, I stayed in the room, and when he came back it was just too loud at night time. Absolutely love the eco friendly style of reducing waste etc, but had to ask for more toilet paper.

Our stay was amazing for a night , bed comfy room was clean just noise from the outside as we open the window for a fresh air as the AC didn’t work.

Good location, very basic hotel

Despite renovations this is a lovely hotel very close to the train station with wonderful staff who are caring and helpful.

Hotel is in a very good spot.I like it.

The Hospitality of the staff made my stay highly enjoyable. Breakfast is the best meal of the day and the Ibis provides a great breakfast. Evening meals and drinks are good value for money and they are a good size meal too. I will definitely visit again.

Close to train, bus & ferry transport. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff

We've never stayed in an Ibis hotel before and weren't sure what to expect. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet. There is a Sainsbury's and a Wetherspoons in a short walking distance. We were close to the train station, which was convenient because we travelled there on the train. Overall we were very impressed with it and would definitely stay there again.

Staff wasn’t very helpful, we had a load of luggage and staff didn’t even pint out the baggage trolley

Great property

Basic mart, clean, air conditioned rooms. Reception area smart and staff went above and beyond in helping me with a travel query. Worth doing the Accordion loyalty program for decent perks like wi fi. BUT my room only had a non transparent window, a covering was over it to hide building works..I felt this should have been mentioned before I arrived at the room. TV is also a bit small for a modern room of a reputable chain.

Friendly staff, 4 mins walk from temple meads. Clean and comfortable rooms.

The hotel provided good basic accommodation. A little pricey for what is was, but convenient.

Overall, I really liked the property although the amenities could be improved - softer towels, hand towels and wash clothes, a recycling basket for paper, plastics, etc. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Property is well maintained; room was very clean.
