Excellent stay very nice and comfortable rooms, breakfast was excellent lots of choice, only negative I can find is there was no conditioner in shower or bottle was not working

Very convenient from the Piccadilly train station. We ordered room service which was quick. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and is of good value. Definitely will stay here again when in Manchester.

I stay here regularly for business. Always comfortable and staff friendly & helpful. This time check in took far too long which was frustrating. Also a couple of machines in the gym were not working. At time of writing there is some refurbishment works going on.

I know that Marriott encourage associates to greet guests with an appropriate greeting but I didn't really appreciate the young man that checked us in greeting me with "Hiya Mate". I am 61 and I was raised in Manchester. I think that is just plain rude. Staff in the Great Room were not attentive or switched on. My daughter ordered Vegetable Jalfrezi and received Chicken Curry.

Parking availability was very important, and with their own car park, this wasn't a problem. £20 for 24 hours, not too bad. Staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Room was really nice, with a great big window letting in the morning sun. Bathroom was large and clean. Shower was lovely.

The stay was average at best. Location is convenient, hotel is clean. Unfortunately stay was overshadowed by quite a few negatives.
Had to queue for 20mins to check-in, its not like we even arrived at check-in time it was 2hrs after. Then after checking in had to queue again for the elevator because one was out of service.
We were given an accessible room which would have been fine except the bathroom was completely different to what we booked. It was supposed to be a seperate bath/shower but we got a combination bath/shower and the bath was only about half a meter deep because it was accessible so you couldnt even submerge yourself.
The doors have no noise protection at all, guests were very noisy early in the morning in the corridor. Room had an ajoining door which you could hear all the cleaners early in the morning.
We were not asked how our stay was on checkout.
Have stayed in a good handful of hotels in Manchester and this was probably the worst experience.

It was an awful visit. Took a train from London with my wife to visIt a sick relative. Got to reception and apparently the booking, already paid for, was for a day before. Cannot understand how that happened as the trian tickets were booked for 21st amd NOT 20th. Its now 1030pm and we are now trying to find a cheaper hotel as Marriott only has a room for £190/night when we paid £115.

Great location very near Piccadilly station.
Modern and stylish rooms
Bar prices are a little excessive but that’s hotels everywhere these days
One piece of advice I would offer is that the Hotels car park road post code on sat nav’s is different to the entrance road entrance and due to the 1 way system and no right turns off after the A57 it’s difficult to locate. Hotel booking should make this clearer on its confirmations to guests and Expedia should reference this as well.

It was a nice comfortable hotel, only thing took forever to get room service at 11:30 pm and then delivered wrong food, also the lifts were not working and dragging suitcases up and down stairs was not easy and carrying drinks up and down stairs. Rooms great
