Unique experience. "Treetops" in Hampshire! Well, thirty years ago maybe.
Perfect for visiting the Zoo, one minute walk entrance to entrance! Clean and comfortable. Refreshing to find a hotel where the heating is a controlable radiator and the patio doors open fully onto a balcony for every room. Good breakfast btw. Friendly, approachable staff and a proper key to your door. Dated and in need of redecoration in places (no, please don't) I liked it!

Staff at hotel very very polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Sadly hotel could really do with a make over and it was pretty shabby which really let it down .

Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend

Extraordinary that in March with temperatures of 4 degrees outside that the heating in the hotel was turned off everywhere. There were insufficient blankets in the room, so even with a towel and my overcoat over me I was too cold to get much sleep. Next morning I was cold and exhausted, not in good shape to tackle the day.

Bathroom shower head didn't work properly and was low pressure issues so my showers were done with a trickle of warm water 3 nights in a row. Restaurant food was marginal

This is our second stay at the Marwell Hotel Winchester. Even with a wedding in the main building, there was no noise in the rooms - superb planning :-) a 10 minute drive into Winchester, plenty of parking without any issues, a lovely pool for a morning swim. Friendly helpful staff.

This 3 Star hotel is lovely, surrounded by nature and a vibe to peace and relaxation. I stayed for one night due emergency but was 90 percent satisfied. Only thing I dislike is that they check in time is extremely late and check out extremely early . Management need to consider as customer pay for a full day but they miss out on 4 hours ! Standard check in time should be 1 maximum 2! And check out should be 12! The swimming pool was not working the day I arrive which was the reason I book it but never less it was an ok accommodation with lovely views

Hair all along the bathroom by the shower, toilet would not flush properly. Shower was pointless, water just trickled out and issues with water from the sink aswell.
