Pearl & Pebbles Eastbourne

Paid £125 for the night, bed sheets appalling and lots of stains, room stunk with lots of flys until I demanded that they change the sheets and clean the room properly them when it came to have a shower there was no water! reported it to staff they had a look and said they would be back to fix it in five minutes and never returned. Avoid!!!!!

Whole property very dated, hallways not seen an hoover in who knows how long. No running water in our room so was given key to another room to shower etc, which was full of mould. Positive was the guy in reception who was very polite and did what he could, but the property itself is not good,

The pictures are obviously of 1 room that hasn't been used by the latest bunch of guests, the hotel has been trashed by recent guests and if you speak to the locals its been used as a migrant drop in hotel, we had 3 rooms booked and they were the worst my lads have stayed in, to the point they refused to stay beyond the 1st night of 4 nights booked, dirty rooms/toilets/carpets/communal areas. smashed windows all over. see pictures..... and avoid until refurbished

Absolutely disgusting windows covered in cardboard and duck tape, smell was awful

The overall feel of the hotel didn’t meet my expectations given the name. Broken glass door and no security present at main entrance. Only one person (quite lovely and accommodating) managing reception. My door to the room didn’t lock from the inside which for safety I didn’t appreciate. Unfortunately the only aspect I liked was the shower pressure. Bathroom was clean but I didn’t like paying £25 upfront in case I do anything to the room. It is a bit of a scam to be honest. You pay £25 at the desk and if you refuse they will not let you stay there. I got my £25 back but I can imagine this isn’t the case for each individual. Paint work is quite shoddy and didn’t look very inviting. One of the three towels provided had a stain on it which I also didn’t appreciate. The room itself had dirty walls, the chair provided had dirt on it and the table still had some crumbs from the previous person staying over. As I was tired from work it was okay. Bed was comfy though. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Would do so if there wasn’t anything else available elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay, for the price I paid I could not have asked for better.

The staff are absolutely great here and are really happy to ensure your stay is as comfortable as can be. My room had everything I needed, including a smart TV. The WiFi and everything else worked as it should, and I'll be very happy to return to this quiet hotel at the western end of the beach, where you can take a comfortable beachside walk all the way down to the tea chalet at the foot of the cliffs

When we got there they upgraded us for no reason but i loved the rooms and the hotel

The pictures shown when booking are not the same as hotel , the noise when trying to sleep was unreal bedroom next to lift and doors which bang loud , staff were friendy which is only plus , would not recommend to anyone.

Apart from the mattress sounding like you were stepping on an elephant, the room was clean, modern and comfortable to stay in. You get a small body wash and shower gel product in the bathroom, but no hand soap, so bring your own. Bathroom was clean too.

Parking isn't great, but, if you can find a space outsude the hotel, they can sell you a parking permit for a lot less than the cost at the machine...

Very poor condition, room was better than the rest of hotel looked, misplaced swipe card and wanted £20 to replace, never have I heard such rubbish, toilet rolls not replaced, biscuits first day, replaced coffee 2nd day , didn’t bother on 3 rd day, under bed was filthy

Staff were super helpful. Carried my suitcase to my room for me. My room was very clean and the bedding and mattress really comfortable. The single bedroom I stayed in was a good size and the bathroom modern and also very clean

Have a bad expérience

The rooms was clean and functional. Everything worked and there were no issues with the bathroom. The only thing that let it down was the stained pillows. Staff were friendly as were the other guests. The Hotel is in a good location for the shopping centre, theatre and pubs. Beach is just 2 minutes walk and there are eating establishments close by, literally around the corner.
