Lovely hotel, convenient location

We have had a lovely stay. It was just for one night so a very brief trip. The hotel refurbishment is amazing. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We will stay again when we are next in Manchester

Check-in was swift and easy. Aircon in room wasn’t so cool in this heat and made my night sleep a bit uncomfortable. My room wasn’t tidied after I got back from my conference and I had to go to reception to request for my room to be tidied. On going back it was only my bed that was made, there was not enough body wash in the bathroom, luckily I came with mine. The door slams shut when coming out or going in. The speed at which a self-closing door should close is typically adjusted to fall within a range of 3 to 25 seconds, from a 90-degree open position to fully closed. This range ensures sufficient time for safe passage while adhering to fire safety standards. There was also a smell of electrical wire overheating as you walk into the restaurant. A little tweak and it’ll have made for a brilliant stay.

Stay was okay however beds very uncomfortable, pool changing rooms not in full order. Breakfast poor

The property is very modern with good facilities and friendly staff. The swimming pool is a bit small and no parking on site are the short comings, otherwise it is a good hotel. Having said that the hotel has partnered with a parking space opposite the hotel and you get a discount. I parked my car for over 18 hours and only paid £13, without discount £22.

Hotel is lovely and good location near Victoria station, check in was great, very welcoming and efficient staff on arrival. Room was a good size clean, tidy and with everything we needed including toiletries. Beds were comfortable however Issue with beds not being attached as gap opening up in middle… Breakfast service not the best - this was the 6th hotel I have stayed in over the last month and my least favourite breakfast experience. Tables crammed in a difficult for people to keep getting past table. Extremely close on both sides to other tables, one of which sat with dirty plates on for the first 15 minutes of our breakfast. There were no plates on the buffet for hot food and area was quite messy with spilt food all round area. There did not seem to be enough space or staff to run the service effectively - bit disappointing.

Good Stay, Comfortable rooms. Got an upgrade from the staff as we were with kids. Nice touch

I had a few issues with this hotel. First on check-in, was told breakfast served till 10:30 and they in fact stop at 10, so we nearly missed it and were rushed. Secondly, children are not allowed use the pool from 10am to 5pm. This is just crazy. Luckily we found a nice playground not too far away.

The hotel is lovely and modern with art deco theme. Would highly recommend. Although initially outside is not that nice and could do with some investment in the area it is not the hotels fault.

Great location really nice hotel

The room was not fully made up on are arrival at approx 3-45pm. One bed was not made. Lack of robe in the room. No tissues in the Bathroom. The A/C was not working and the room was very hot. We contacted reception and they sent up a member of your team to make up the bed. We pointed out the problem of the A/C she contacted site maintenance. Eventually they contacted us to say they could not fix the system and offered to move us to interconnecting rooms. We eventually moved to after i explained that we needed to get ready before a show at the AO by 6-30pm. Reception brought us the room keys and we moved ourselves to an accessible room!!! and a connecting room. No robes in the room. We spoke to reception and they arranged for robes to be sent up. The accessible room was inappropriate for our needs. However, we needed to prepare and get to the AO Arena. On returning to the Hotel later that evening we realised that we only had single flat pillows in the one accessible room. It was late and we were tired. We utilised some of our clothes to increase the level of the pillows. The beds were very firm and we did not have a very good nights sleep. We were offered a 50% discount on our booking in compensation!! When ! checked the bill at checkout the reduction was not 50%. The receptionist explained that she will speak to the manager and get it corrected. I will need to check my bank to see if that has been completed. Staff tried but the whole experience was not good.

Good overall trip

Helpful friendly staff, lovely hotel. We were very happy with our room, comfy bed. The pool area was nice, clean and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
