Has this hotel is on a services so you have plenty of places to eat. There is a park for the kids which is great. The surrounding area around the hotel for you to have a walk if that’s what you like.
Hotel rooms were nice and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was fine, room was as expected, staff helpful on check in, the only disappointment was letting us order breakfast in the morning knowing the hot plate wasnt working and the food was likely cold (Which it was)
However, when i complained we received a refund for two of the three breakfasts.

Nice convenient hotel
Dining options at hotel and in adjacent services. (All close quite early except Mcdonalds)
Hotel needs more attention to details, last time we stayed found a large amount drug paraphernalia on an inside window ledge in the room after checking in.
The hotel manager blamed this on a local music festival having taken place that weekend.
Not the room cleaner who did not spot or remove these items sat in clear view. They obviosly changed the bed linen and little else.

Check in was quick and friendly. The hotel parking is fine and the hotel is clean and tidy.
I was very disappointed to see that the multiple bed room I booked and paid extra for was a single and a double when the advertised photo shows a double and two singles which is what I expected.
The third bed was a slide out bed on the floor which wasnt made and had no bedding. I had to source the bedding and after 2 attempts of getting all this dropped off I decided to make it up myself.
It was an overnight stop off mid journey so I put up with it as my daughters were tired and didnt want a room change, but the room I received isn't, in my opinion, the room I booked.

Unfortunately the twin bed room we were in. The bed was the worst on the planet. Had the worst night ever - couldn’t wait to get out. Breakfast was £11 for both of us was pretty cold and basic, scrambled eggs looked off.

Bad points: Cleanliness was below average - coffee mugs not cleaned and residue left inside. I had to clean it myself.
Toilet had stains from you know what. Again, i had to clean.
Gym, though not a deal breaker, was just a running machine, cross trainer and an indoor bike. I was expecting a bench and weights. My 4 day stay would have been more enjoyable if i could start my day with a workout. The 'gym' was one of the reasons for me choosing this hotel.
Good points: parking convenience, restaurants next door, a nice outdoor space with kids' playground.
