Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington

Enjoyed the hotel. Room was nice and comfortable. Staff were kind, helpful, and sweet to our 5 year old. Breakfast was good but recommend getting eggs cooked to order, which we only did our very last morning. We walked everywhere and really loved the area. Loud cars at night but wasn’t anything the hotel can help. Would stay again.

Very pleased with the facilities and the location. Easy walk to Rail stations and Bus service conveniently located. Tesco was great for food shopping. Loved the area. Wife wants to return.

Very nice hotel that was very clean and in a beautiful area, but the air conditioning was broken and London was having a heat wave! Hot hot !!

The room, especially the bathroom was not clean. Toothpaste marks on the sink. There was still cutlery in the dish washer. The walls are paper thin and kept getting woke up by the noise of others. The location is excellent for attending at the Olympia. The kitchenette in the room is fully equipped but just the dishes were not clean.

As a regular guest, I want to thank you for consistently providing a wonderful experience. The room was fantastic, and the breakfast as excellent as always. I truly appreciate the high quality of service you maintain. That said, I’d like to share one concern from my recent stay. The hotel was, as usual, fully booked — which is a good sign! — but it did feel quite crowded at times. Waiting for the elevator was the most challenging part of the experience. Staying on a high floor became uncomfortable, especially given the recent earthquake in Turkey, which left me feeling uneasy. Unfortunately, there were no available rooms to move to a lower floor, though your staff handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. Next time I’m in London, I will absolutely stay with you again — but I will definitely request a room on a lower floor, where I’d feel safer and could use the stairs if needed. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Room was lovely, but it was like an oven. Air con was rubbish and fan in room very loud, so very little sleep. The Nespresso coffee machine had a 2 prong European plug which made no sense and which meant I couldn't avail of the nice coffee in the morning. Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful.

Shopping at Tesco was very convenient.

My experience was amazing. The rooms are spacious and the location is very convenient . Breakfast options were also good. Arsha helped us with an early checkin and provided a room with a great view, thanks for that.

First the good...We stayed there for 8 nights. Every person that works there were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My daughter slept on the pull out couch. The free breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, bread, and pastries every day. The coffee maker made whatever you liked....espresso, cappuccino, etc. The hot food was better than most hotels. The location was great. It was about a 15 minute walk to the tube. There is no in-house restaurant, but the Italian place across the street delivered for free. It was decent for the couple of nights we were dead tired from our day. Now for the not so good...Breakfast was a mob scene every morning. A wait for a table took a half hour at times. That being said, the staff were amazing at keeping everything orderly and stocked. The elevators are the worst. They have a mind of their own. They even have a sign in them, saying how slow they are. It got to be comical by the end of our stay. We often hiked the five floors to avoid the wait. The bed in the room instead of being against the window was against the hallway wall (which seemed to be about one inch thick), and the noise from guests moving (often kids running)about and talking loudly, woke us up multiple times a night. Overall. the good outweighed the bad by quite a bit. American hotels could use a lesson from the fabulous staff at this hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

Poorly trained staff who did not know how to deal with any issues. The manager at the breakfast asked to sit 7 of us in a 4 -5 seater table on all 3 days. Did not offer an option to sit in different tables.

This place was quite disappointing, and I am puzzled by its high rating of 8.6 out of 10. The nearest underground station, Ears Court is a 12–15-minute walk. West Kensington underground station is not the 8-minute walk that is advertised on the site. It is even farther, taking more than 20 minutes to reach. This hotel was very crowded, and the staff struggles to manage the volume. Despite their best efforts, we felt bad for them as they tried hard to keep everyone happy. We arrived around 2 pm, but our room wasn't ready, and we had to wait over an hour. The room itself wasn't very clean; while the surface appeared okay, closer inspection revealed spots on the floors and a bathroom that needed thorough cleaning. The sofa bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Although the concept of having a mini kitchen and a bedroom is good, that was the only positive aspect. The shampoo dispenser was empty, and after three calls and a 30-minute wait, we finally received some, only to find the dispenser wouldn't open. You hear the other guests walking in the hallways and other noises, so it is not quiet at all. The hotel has two small elevators that are very slow, which is inadequate for a building with 10 floors and a high volume of guests. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options but became very crowded, so it's best to arrive early. The location is in a residential area, making it farther from restaurants and shops. Overall, our stay was not what we had hoped for.

I liked the location with public transport within walking distance. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

The place itself was fine for my needs, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I had to extend my stay and later cancel (within 12 hours of making the booking)—but despite explaining the situation and following their process, they flat-out refused a refund. Their lack of empathy and flexibility left a bad taste. I won’t be staying there again for that reason alone.

Good facilities in the room and hotel. Breakfast is great, lifts always busy in peak hours. Front desk is helpful, poor room service need to be improved.

Ganske udmærket hotel. Fine store rene værelser. Morgenmadsbuffeten ganske udmærket, men desværre ALT for lille i forhold til mængden af gæster på hotellet.

Room could have been more handicap friendly. Not enough space for normal folks, but anyone with disabilities it’s extremely difficult. However staff was extra helpful & benevolent. Breakfast was great. Could have changed menus day to day.
