For a hotel right by the seaside, it is great.
It is an older property, so don't expect air conditioning. I'm also assuming because of the clientele, that the room was noticably hotter than I would've preferred. Good thing you can open a window!
Apart from that, you get tea/coffee and a seaside view right out the door. What's not to like? They also had entertainment in the restaurant, and overall would stay here again.
When coupled with the value, now that makes everything worth it. Very affordable even compared to the big chains. Would stay again!
You have a public car park (with EV Charging) next door, but it is a little bit pricey for parking.

I love this hotel recently renovated very central. It’s not modern. Always ask for an upgrade. You may have to pay a little more but well worth it very competitive.

I stayed on a Saturday. Majority of guests seemed to be there as a base for going out on the town. Lively atmosphere outside the front of the hotel and live music playing in the hotel bar. Room had quite a random collection of furniture but was clean and had everything you need. Staff were polite and efficient.

The hotel is conveniently situated near the pier and pavilion. The gardens are large and scenic, and there are large and comfortable lounges furnished with chesterfield sofas and armchairs.
On the downside the check-in was slow and the hotel reception claimed that the room booked via Expedia was a windowless room. We disputed this as we had expressly booked a double room with window via Expedia - and we were allocated that type of room after some discussion.

Good room.slept very well..but spoilt by another quest who had 2,barking dogs which caused was out of control.no lead.in garden.running after customers..was .I made complaint about this woman who seemed to entice dogs to misbehave...this hotel should not accept dogs to annoy guests..

Rooms were never made up you make your own bed every day if you want Tea or coffee clean towels or toilet you get it or do it yourself rooms never cleaned or changed all week The food in the Restaurant was inedible straight off the back of a lorry or out of a freezer all in all very poor

Liked the character of the hotel. Clean & quiet. Good value for money.Carpet in room worn, lovely refurbished bathroom but light on mirror didn't work. Couldn't fill kettle from basin as wouldn't fit under tap. Would stay again
