Sea View House

Nicely presented apartment, with plenty of space for two adults and an active toddler. Good location, easy to park and excellent communication with owner. Thank you.

The outside of the property is absolutely dreadful and stinks of bins. The neighbours are drug users as we smelt cannabis every morning through the window. The property has a bad case of damp throughout. We guests on the floor above us locked us out several times! We came for our wedding and just was severely disappointed from start to finish. Police were always down the street arresting people. Plus side I got parked okay. We had a nice view from bedroom window and it was near the sea front.

Booked the apartment for a short stay. Good communication from the owner with entry instructions, good directions. It is obvious that the apartment sees a lot of footfall being very close to the seafront of the north bay, but it offered everything needed for the stay; very comfortable, clean furnishings; ample clean towels and bedding; nice clean kitchen with breakfast bar; good sized fridge freezer; washing machine. Bathroom was a nice size, very clean, and warm. I didn't need parking so unsure about availability, but the accommodation provided parking permits for the duration of our stay. Thank you.

The flat its self could be stunning with some TLC. The carpets werent the cleanest, the sofa the same. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the living room and damp in some places. There was some paint peeling in some rooms.It really could be a lovely little place but little things were missing such as a tea towel, I would just expect a little bit more.

I went in to the property and there was 3 guys sleeping. Tried to call the landlord and no answer!!! I have lost the money for 4 nights!

The property is well structured in its confined space & located close to the beach view... Very lovely. The stairs is steep & you need to duck for 6ft person like me... Kept hitting my head on the door post. The apartment is neat and very adequate for a family of 4/5. Adequately furnished with basic needs. However, there were services lacking, primarily is the WiFi. This was almost non existence... In our 4 nights stay, we barely had it for 2 days at night for few hours. I called the owner Ben on day one about the issue and he shocked me by asking me to call the provider rather than attending to it. He never bothered to check back even. The access control takes more than 5 minutes for the sensor to recognise the palm input... which was inconvenient for entering the main apartment. The bathtub had no anti-slip or grip on the bathtub, no bath foot mat or mop to wipe the floor dry... Safety issue. You don't want to imagine slipping in there with no one to attend to you. We had just two toilet rolls and no sponge to wash up in the kitchen. Other than these, the apartment is great, if you are prepared to buy these things like I did, and take them away with you when your holiday done. More service effort & communication needed to get my 5 star rating. Definitely room for improvement is needed.

The property has some maintenance issues that need sorting. Carpet to bathroom and bedroom is loose. Its a curved staircase and its very dangerous. I asked about fixing it which i was told would be done by handyman. All he did was tuck it in so within a day was loose again which caused an accident. Bathroom is damp and paint and plaster is peeling off. Few other bits as well need sorting. Its a nice central place with lovely views. The owner has said it is getting an overhaul soon and all these issues will be fixed

Lovely property, nice and clean, the beds were really comfortable

Great view! Looking West onto the North Sea you can watch the sunset, tides going in and out on the North beach, and am a walkable 5-10 minutes from the beach. Grocery stores, restaurants, bus stop, and train station are also in that 10 minute walk. The flat is renovated and is quite nice albeit the spiral staircase and entrance are a bit cramped. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is functional. We didn't have a car but it appears that parking is provided. When we went to check in about 2:45 PM we couldn't access the property due to the instruction email not opening correctly. We chatted with hotels.com and they tried to contact the manager. After a few minutes a couple ladies showed up and said the place wasn't ready and that they were late and needed to clean it. In the middle of this the manager got back to us and gave us the unlock code for the entrance and our flat. We put our luggage inside, explored the town for about an hour and came back. Other than those couple of hiccups when checking in this was a good place to stay. Would stay here again.

Really lovely apartment lots of room well designed , easy to find fantastic location, easy access , Would definitely recommend and would happily book again. Very clean and welcoming.

Was decent accommodation, quite small and not height friendly, but was a comfortable stay, and quick response from the host for access that wasnt sent through email.

Apartment was modern, but not very clean as the carpets visibly needed a vacuum cleaner going over. As we were a family of 5 we needed to use the sofa bed, but the bedding was partial (no sheet) and unwashed (lots of stains on the duvet and pillow). Pretty yucky. Glasses in the cupboard had grease marks on them, so we didn't use them. It could be an excellent place to stay, but these points really marred it for us.

Great location, very nice place. Host responsive when we arrived. We were without a few small items, but made due. Very comfortable and would stay again!

Looks like it was decorated to a high standard in the first place but this isn’t being kept on top of. Carpets could do with a clean, walls need repainting. Mouldy sealant around the bath could do with addressing and the peeling paint on the ceiling. Didn’t seem to have been cleaned in a while which is a shame as it could’ve been a lot more of a comfier stay.

Modern, clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Free parking ticket for street parking was also very useful.
