The Auckland Hotel

Happy for us to get a takeaway and staff gave us plates and cutlery to eat it which was great.

There was a huge crack in our room on the wall, which made the room look extremely unpresentable and unfortunately this was not advertised on their own site as well as on Expedia. I paid over £230 for 2 nights in a box room with a crack going down one of the walls, it was extremely disappointing.

Great place to stay, just along from the centre of seafront. Next time will pay extra for seaview. Staff great, really friendly and helpful. We managed to get a parking spot, but could have got parked on the front if not.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The place is tiered, dirty, needs a renovation. Room hasn’t been cleaned. Rug dirty, surfaces not wiped, plumbing doesn’t drain. Room very very small.

Sea view room was excellent. Very clean , bright, spacious and comfortable. Staff really helpful. Lovely lounge and bar area overlooking the sea. Will definately book again.

Very welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Last minute booking and though our room was basic it was Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and fab pillows. Fab location with lovely aspect looking out to the sea. We were also allowed to leave our car in the small car park and use the facilities after we checked out at 10.30am until leaving for home at 4.30pm which was great and much appreciated. This was our first time staying in Morecambe Bay and we couldn’t have chosen a better weekend, weather was amazing and we spent a lovely relaxing 2 days on the beach…. Felt like we were abroad. We will definitely return to this lovely town and The Auckland Hotel.

Lovely friendly hotel, nice bar, entertainment and free parking. Breakfast was lovely just enough not many cold selections. Room lovely and in good order. My only issue the bed valance in room 124 was damaged unfortunately it made the first impression of the room poor, worth replacing also the matress was in need of replacement as it was sunk to the shape of a body. Again really needs replacing. However i had a nice stay, please dont let my comments put you off, lovely hotel.

Arrived check in was easy, although check in not till 3pm, but we checked in paid for our stay, then went to explore Morecambe. Returned to pick up our room key, room small with 2 single beds, was clean & comfortable, plenty of storage space with wardrobe, drawers & bedside drawers, had a Seaview room which was nice! Breakfast helped yourself to fruit juice, cereal, then could choose from the menu for a cooked breakfast which was then prepared fresh, along with tea/coffee, could ask for yoghurts & croissants. Staff friendly & helpful. Enjoyed our stay, good location to other amenities shops, pubs, & the beach & of course Eric Morecambe himself (statue).

Comfortable and clean room with a great view of the bay.

Excellent and clean hotel and very central for all the towns amenities. Our group has stayed there several times previously and would always stay at The Auckland if we were staying in Morecambe My only quible would be the thick winter duvet on the bed, which was not suitable when we were there in the present summer heatwave

We enjoyed our stay here, great value for money, staff very friendly (especially with the kids) and the whole place was super clean. Some areas of the hotel are a little tired, the floorboards creaky and the walls a little thin but overall we had a good night sleep and would happily stay here again.

The staff here are outstanding, no matter how much they have to do, they've always got a smile and are willing to help. They went out of their way to make sure the stay was as good as it could possibly be

Great to have free parking at rear of hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room clean and had all we needed including great shower. Perhaps a newer larger smart tv would improve on the small freeview tv. Nice sea view. Lovely bar and terrace. Would certainly stay again

Very clean with wonderfully helpfull and friendly staff. Exceeded our expectations. Excellently located for us. Had a better experience here than in much more expensive places we have stayed in.
