Charming hotel in a great location

Pub vibes. Okay I guess but not what I expected for what was in the photos. Hey ho.

Good stay

Hotel was part of a public house and location was good, our room was top floor and on the small size, en-suite and room was clean, tea / coffee facilities with in room. Room was very hot on our visit as the weather was within a hot period, AC would have been beneficial for the price of the room, Breakfast was choice of English , continental and was ok.

Lovely stay, lovely staff

Had a very comfortable 2-night stay at the Fitzrovia Belle in May 2025. Location is perfect, easily accessible to several tube stops and all central locations. Room had good wifi, shower heat/pressure, comfortable mattress, and helpful staff. Room noise is minimal despite being over a pub and directly on Tottenham Court Road.

Welcome was functional but not very enthusiastic, neither was the farewell from the same member of staff the next day, they just took the key and that was that. I feel the staff could be trained to be a bit more welcoming. Room was clean and comfy, bedding fresh and mattress just right, excellent shower and hairdryer and small ironing board and iron provided as well as tea and coffee tray. My only criticism is a smell of stale cigarette smoke which seemed to linger the whole time. Secondary glazing was effective, I didn't find the noise a problem. I had a walk around the nearby sights, the Fitzrovia Belle is well placed for Trafalgar Square, Oxford St, Downing Street, Chinatown, Buckingham Palace, The Mall etc although I did do 20k steps in a little over three hours! Euston station is just 10 mins away, Goodge St 3-5 mins away, Tottenham Ct Rd Elizabeth Line station is 15 mins walk, excellent service (I went to Liverpool St but Paddington and Heathrow easy to reach on this line too) I had a couple of pints of Guinness in the bar and Big Belle burger and chips. Both were excellent. Not cheap but the prices are online so can be checked before you book. Burger was high quality. Food service was quick, breakfast included is either standard cooked breakfast or continental, not both.

The only slight issue was the people in the room opposite as they in and out of their room banging around between 1am and 5am. The room and service was excellent

Nice comfortable, spacious, clean room above a nice pub in the buzzing heart of London. Pros: super easy check-in; spacious, cosy and very clean room; great waterfall shower, super convenient and well connected location. Cons: noisy at night due to the location (drunk revellers on the streets). No alternative milks for breakfast (come on, this is 2024). Some wear and tear in the bedroom and bathroom (worn chair and paint peeling) but not bad enough to put me off. Would def stay again. Super convenient.

Great experience with very helpful staff. Jenny & her team were excellent; room & breakfast more than adequate. Great location for restaurants and transport links. Recommended!

Nice hotel in a good location for Regents Park, Primrose Hill, etc.

Very helpful and friendly staff, close to the centre of London only a short walk. Very comfortable rooms with all amenities I would definitely use this hotel again

A restaurant/tavern with rooms above it. You check in with the bartender! A breakfast was included with my room rate and the 3 main options were perfectly okay during my 3 day stay.

Very friendly pub with good rooms. Spacious and very comfortable room and a good breakfast as well. All the staff and particularly.Mark made this a lovely stay. We also had a bite to.eat at the Fitzrovia in the evening a straight forward menu with good food at a very reasonable.price. Definitely visiting again when in London.

This was our second stay at Fitzrovia Belle. We came back because the service on our first visit was absolutely sensational. Not so this visit. Staff member on duty (we were told his name was Kas) did not honor their advertised 2pm check-in time. We'd been traveling for 20 hours and this was our first stop in London. Kas was unapologetic and blamed Travelocity for listing the wrong time. We are innkeepers ourselves and use Travelocity. So we know that Travelocity depends on their hotel clients to provide them correct info. Travelocity would only list the info the hotel provides. Blaming them was absurd. A manager named Mark then came on duty and was extremely gracious and apologetic. He checked us in and said there was no reason we shouldn't have been allowed to check in on time. Mark said as long as rooms are cleaned, there is no reason not to allow guests to check in, even if it's before check-in time. So Mark helped to redeem the situation, but I doubt we'll stay again. If Fitzrovia Belle hires people like Kas, we don't think we can trust another stay there. Sad experience.
