Clean room and comfortable , friendly staff

The hotel was convenient for needs

The hotel was fine, but lots of little niggles keep it from being great. It is noisy, the air con didn’t work, the bath tap dripped, you can hear water noises in the pipes, the pillows were quite lumpy and there was a strong & unpleasant smell in the corridor. I didn’t feel unsafe, but I also didn’t explore the hotel facilities as I was there for 1 night of work. The carpet was new and the room was clean. I slept decently. It was fine. I wouldn’t book again as there are many better hotels in the area.

Arrived, and check-in was painfully slow, due to other guests with room issues, I had booked for 3 guests in 3 double rooms, we were all allocated twin rooms, of which one was a pet room, they did manage to change that one, but not the other two.

Great stay, excellent position for Stansted.

Lack of staff

This hotel is pleasant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well thoughtout. My only complaint is that there were no charging points fir mobile phones.

Hotel is great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, but they do need updating. Had some food in the bar and it was good. Never had breakfast as thought it was well over priced.

The receptionist was rude and slow. The bar staff were very friendly but the bar was badly stocked only one beer on tape working. The room was clean and tidy.

Large noisy wedding, disruptive to all areas until 5am in the morning

Friendly staff but not enough disabled parking and there was a car in the disabled bay with no blue badge which I did inform reception when I checked in and they said they would check it out and they apologised There must have been a function on as the car park was packed full

Really slow check-in. OK breakfast. A looong walk to the room, but on the ground floor, with three steps to negotiate if you've mobility issues. Mine was a dog-friendly room that if she'd been with me ours would have appreciated. Carpets worn, general feeling was of the Hotel being a little tired, though lobby and bar areas were smart. Easy, secure, parking, and good value pricing being close to London, Stanstead, and the M11. I had their Caesar Salad for my supper, from a limited bar menu, and it really wasn't very good (but filled a hole!) I'd try somewhere else should I have to travel down to Harlow again.

Cant complain as only paid £40 per night but i am as by far the worst hotel i have stayed in and i have travelled a lot. Reception unmanned on arrival - had to wait 10 mins to be served Room ok but fire door in corridor outside room banged most of night. Not conducive to a good nights sleep. Occupants in room above seemed to have a fight couple times in night, shouting, swearing and banging around room at midnight and circa. 0330 in the morning . Complained to reception - not aware anything done. Breakfast was luke warm at best - bacon cold, fried eggs cold, hash browns overcooked and solid..

Staff need some lessons in customer service

Nice rooms

I've stayed here a few times now. Always friendly service at reception. Car parking available. Clean room with nice towels and good toiletries provided. 12pm check out time means you can sleep in too!

Little annoying things such as resetting key card every day, havingvto request extra towels every day for 2 people. Bar closed at 9.00pm because the barmaid did not want to stay even though there were over 30 paying customers in the bar
